Is this as stupid as it looks, or is it actually fun?

I've had this game for 5 years, my grandchildren love it, ages 3-9. I play with them as well. it's fun to hear their expressions as they pull out each item. Has been a great fun teaching tool for my sensory grandchildren.

What is the difference between the multicolored and other version?

The older one, $70, is an original Ned’s Head. The items are a bit different. I also remember Ned’s Sticky Ear wax (large Q Tip with yellow on end). I don’t see it in this one. This head is larger than the new one for $16.99.

Do any of the pieces contain Latex?

No..I don't think so. Most of the pieces are hard plastic

is there any way to purchase replacement pieces?

No reason to replace pieces - just make your own from the toys they already have.
