Amazing, professional results!!!
My nails were much longer and very damaged. The majority of them were beginning to crack & peel across the nail bed! I knew I needed to do something fast to stop the broken sides from breaking further as it was already oversensitive & trimming the broken parts off isn't an option! I tried brush on nail glue & it initially worked however, it was inflexible so it also cracked, allowing the nail to be unstable again. I cleaned my nails with polish remover, buffed the nail lightly, applied the gel glue resin & dipped my nail in the powder. Once it dried, I repeated the steps once more then buffed them to smooth them. I only did the lower half of each nail...and it really isn't visible! So far my nails not only look natural but I'm having a hard time figuring out where all of the cracks were in my nails! They are repaired, supported & no longer oversensitive. This kit is AMAZING! I still have a lot of the gel glue & powder left in case I need another nail bandaid. If you have longer nails this is a great thing to keep near your bandaid just in case of a split, crack or peeling nail emergency. Don't wait until you need it like I did. I'm grateful they shipped it so fast & I received the kit the next day. My left hand first fingernail was in danger of bleeding soon if I didn't repair it. I'm thrilled with the results. It was incredibly easy & quick to reinforce the last half of each of my finger nails. It's thin but strong! The clear is indeed actually clear once buffed smooth. I don't know how long it will last or how well it will hold up but I have enough left if needed. If it holds to allow the breaks to completely grow out, I will make sure to purchase more to keep in our medical kit.

Worked well for natural nails
I have long natural nails and when they break they seem to always tear in the quick which can be painful and a challenge to manage when they keep getting caught on things while trying to let it grow out enough to safely clip. I had tried a repair kit from a well known polish brand and it did not work for natural nails. It would pop off or just make the nail super brittle and it would just break off. I was skeptical to waste money on another product but took a chance on Karlash because I really needed something to help maintain my long natural nails without having to cut them off every time there is a tear in the nail quick. I can say this product was a pleasant surprise and has been working beautifully. I have been able to apply, file and polish and allow the nail to grow out with no issue. I usually leave it in place for 2 weeks (3 when I stretch it) and then I go through the application process again and re-polish. Usually by the second application, the nail has grown out enough if I want to completely cut. Now with experience, I usually just slowly trim the nail down and just allow it to grow out naturally without ever having to cut the nail completely off. It should last for several applications (months) as it does not take much per use and I usually do 2-3 coats. All of the necessary items come package to repair, buff and file. Update: The one consistent con is that the glue top hardens over time and it is hard to open, I have to pull out pliers to finally get it off. It is a pain but outside of that the product works. I would recommend this product.

saved a nail and keeps on saving
I had a horizontal nail rip just below the free edge on my thumb. I immediately went on Amazon and ordered this product. It arrived in less than 24 hours!! I used the product and the first time trying it out, it lasted one week exactly with two coats as recommended by reviews. I polished all my nails with a clear polish and it looked fine. I followed the instructions and removed it and did it again for week two. This time I used three coats and it lasted 2 1/2 weeks, polishing again with a clear polish. Because of the length of time it lasted, it showed the growth from the cuticle (with a cloudy film) because it is almost like an acrylic nail job. Pros: fast delivery easy to use, polish nail with liquid and dip into powder. Wait to dry and buff nail works incredible lasts long and strong Cons: not crystal clear (but will not show under a colored polish) difficult to remove a little gritty to the touch even though it is buffed liquid polish glue came out of the package 1/2 empty The reason it was given only four stars was because it is advertised as crystal clear and it is not once you dip the nail into the powder. the other reason is because the product came 1/2 empty. Otherwise this product works like a charm. It lives up to the promises of being strong and it is very easy to use. I don't even mind that it is difficult to remove because it works so well. It has now been three weeks and the nail has grown out where the rip is a little above the free edge. I will continue to use it to see how long I can get my nail to grow, before I have to eventually cut it. It is such a good product that I am now traveling with it. As we all know, handling suitcases with long nails will result in a ripped nail. I have not tried any other nail glue so there is nothing to compare it to but this works!!!

Very easy to use and did exactly what I needed!
I tore/ripped a nail too low to clip off, so I knew this needed to grow out a bit. Usually I use the tea bag + nail glue method, but I need to redo that every 2-3 days. I'm heading out on vacation in a couple of days so I wanted something that would be more secure and last longer. Found this kit and it was amazing! I started by gently buffing (with a 240 grit buffer) the torn section (in the direction of the tear to get it as smooth as possible for application. Then I wiped down the nail with a a lint free pad and rubbing alcohol. Applied one thin coat of the resin, dipped my finger in the powder pot, then gently tapped my finger on a paper towel to shake off as much excess as possible. This stuff dries very quickly, but you've got a tiny bit of time to do come clean up, if necessary. I kept a toothpick and a nail brush on hand - which I'd use to clean up the edges. The toothpick was good for any larger chunks I need to neaten up, then I'd run the brush lightly around the edges/cuticle to make sure it was nice and neat and that seemed to help smooth out the transition to the nail. I waited about 3-5min to make sure the product was set. Then I buffed with the purple buffer included in the kit. I ended up using a decent amount of pressure to really sand it down, but maybe start light and then increase pressure. The purple buff didn't mess or cut up my cuticles. Then I used a 240 grit buffer to make sure it was all very smooth. I repeated the process twice, but if you're just using this as an overlay one or two coats would probably be sufficient. After all coats were applied I tried to file that edge from the side and the back to make sure everything is as smooth as possible. It feels very smooth and strong/secure. The product is definitely covering the tear completely at this point. We'll see how long it lasts, but I'm feeling hopeful that it will hold up. I'm not sure how removal is going to go. I'll try soaking in 100% acetone when the time comes and will try to update this at that point. Update: this lasted for my entire 2.5 week vacation! I was moving around from place to place and washing my hands a lot, but this held up perfectly. Once I got home I removed with 100% acetone - took a good 15min soak and some rubbing but it came off very cleanly (didn't bubble or come off in chunks like BIAB or other soft gels typically do for me - it just eventually wiped away like regular nail polish). I've reapplied and am continuing to let the nail grow out. This stuff seriously is life saver!

Works very well!
Excellent kit! Easy to use, and very effective. It's a tiny bit messy because the powder jar is SUPER full and it is very fine powder, so it does spill a bit. Put down a sheet of paper under the jar before you dip your finger so you can catch and reuse the powder that escapes. It creates a strong but slightly flexible coating with one dip, and a very strong much less flexible coating with 2 dips. You can file the top to your preferred smoothness and it is very unobtrusive looking. My thumbnail cracked last week. I used Karlash nail kit and dipped twice. It is holding very firm, and you cannot tell that the nail was cracked save a very light color change at the break.

Redo redo redo
Does it help with broken nails almost falling off? Yes. Does it need more than 1 application for half split ones? Yes. Buff it crazy so nail polish doesn’t look bumpy and weird? Yes. Will it crack again if you bump it on something after 3-4 days? Yes, maybe. I found myself redoing and redoing. Even waiting a while for it to dry before applying more coats..

A must have for weak nails!
I stopped biting my nails almost a year ago. My biggest issue was my nails breaking and cracking. Jojoba oil helped, but not enough. I was recommended this product from r/redditlaqueristas (seriously so helpful!!) and it immediately fixed my cracked nail. Strongly recommend for anyone with those issues. It’s very easy to use for a beginner

It works!
I never write a review, but I'm making an exception in this case. I have terrible nails but this one in particular is problematic. It has a vertical ridge left of center and it splits at that point, as you can see in the photo. It's been this way for several years and, according to what I've read, it's due to an injury and will probably never heal. I've tried everything. I don't get manicures so it's all been DYI. I've tried glue, nail hardener, nail polish and polish strips, the tea bag fix, bandaids, keeping it trimmed as far down as possible etc. It catches on everything - my hair, my clothes, my bedding - and I'm terrified that it will snag on something and get ripped down the ridge to the quick. I scoured Amazon shopping for something that would protect it and perhaps let it grow out. This product had good reviews and the pictures showed pretty good results, so I ordered it. Application was easy. The first time I did it, it was a bit clumpy, but not bad for a first try. Other reviews said the nail buffer supplied wasn't the best, so I used my 4 sided buffer block. When I was done it, didn't look bad, just a bit thick. But it stayed on for 2 weeks. After about 10 days, I could see the gap between my cuticle and the bottom of the artificial nail and it was starting to come off. By the time I could sit down and replace it, the artificial nail was loose enough that I could coax it off without damaging the nail beneath. You're not supposed to do that, so I'm not suggesting you use that method as you can pull up layers of the natural nail and damage it.. I wish I'd taken a picture of how my nail looked after 2 weeks, but I didn't think of it. However, I noticed that I had growth that looked like the split was healing, with layers on the underside. The 2nd picture shows the new artifical nail, 2 applications of the product, and sanded and buffed. You can see a faint line of where the split is. I'm shocked, I tell you, shocked that this worked so well! It's stupidly simple to apply the glue and dip the nail into the powder. Where a bit of skill is required is the shaping and buffing, which will come with practice. I'll try to update this as I go along as I'm anxious to see what happens to my natural nail. I'm more than satisfied. I give it 10 stars, if I could!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Didn't fix the crack
This product is quite messy and hard to use... the first time I had fingers stuck together. The second time was a bit easy as I only applied to the cracked nail but it didn't fix it. Now I'll have to wait until that layer wears off before trying again.
