So there are things I love about this vest and things I wish were different. Overall I am very happy with it and think it is priced well for the quality. I ordered this vest because my therapy dog is a Great Dane and Danes like to lean. I needed something with a handle so I could control his body a bit better. This is not a front attach/no pull harness. If your dog is not great at loose leash walking then you need to get something else. I got the size 4 for my almost 2yr old great dane. It is adjusted to the smallest size and has plenty of room for growth. Pros: - Great look. - Very good quality/Sturdy. - Reflective areas add better visibility. - Velcro patches/labels that can be switched out easily. I ordered a therapy dog and master of disaster label (for when he is not working). - Ability to add side bags. - Fully adjustable. - Sits farther away from the armpits unlike a lot of other harnesses reducing the risk of irritation. - Has slot to add a flashlight. - Handle allows you better control over your dog. Cons: - As someone else mentioned, the velcro front strap adjustment is on the inside which means you have to remove the vest every time to make even the slighted adjustment. - Velcro front seems very sturdy but would make me nervous with a big powerful dog. Not sure how it would hold up long term with a really big puller. - The fit of the front strap goes across the shoulders which in my opinion is not ideal as it interferes with the movement of the dog. I am not concerned about this because most of the time he is just standing while wearing it however I don't know if I would do a lot of jogging with this vest. I know people get this for running with their dogs and I would think something that does not lay on the shoulder blades would be better. In all I really like the vest and it is great for our purpose. I am impressed with the quality and love the side labels. I have added pictures because I spent probably an entire day trying to decide if I should get black or not. I was afraid the vest would disappear on a black dog. I am happy I went with the black in the end. It is not screaming for attention but not invisible either. The labels stand out and can be read from a distance.

Fits my dog very well. Adjustable straps and she can’t slip her head out of it. I’d have to say . . . . this is the best harness I have and I have many. The ease of putting it on my dog is quick and simple.

I'm in love with this harness! Absolutely worth the price! And the personalized patches are fairly reasonably priced. This is a very sturdy and comfortable harness. Very useful, easy to size, easy on and easy off!

This was a great option for my energetic dog who would choke herself on her leash when we walked. The construction is the right weight and durability and the attachment loop makes it easy to get her hooked up to her leash. It is very easy to put on and my dog likes it. My dog has an abnormal proportion of her chest size to the size of the rest of her, so we ordered a size larger than we needed and adjusted the strap to allow it to fit.

WHY BUY A HARNESS... Spend the money on one of these harnesses. Obviously durable, actually OVERTLY obvious. My dog (a Boston) prefers this so much more to a normal collar. The interior is padded and any pressure that is placed upon him (either he or I pulling) is spread over his entire body instead of just one spot on his neck. Any full body harness can offer you more control of your dog, giving you the ability to pull them out of danger without jerking them by the throat. Also, when walking at night, the additional material over a normal collar offers vastly more REFLECTIVE effect. I purchased the seat belt harness that integrates with this harness and no more having to worry about my dog getting hurt with either a very fast stop or an actual accident. Having had to hit the breaks (thank you FL drivers) heavily and often, I have seen what just a little bit of inertia can do to a 20 lb. dog. Chances are you have too if you allow your dog to lie in the front or back seat. SIZING..... Most people eyeball a size instead of measuring to see what size is needed. In this case, I strongly suggest you measure as they suggest. It's as simple as taking a cut length of string, wrap it around your dog and use a finger to hold the length, then lay the string next to a ruler or yard stick. It really pays off of the fitment of these harnesses. German precision, as usual. CUSTOMER SERVICE... A rep from Julius-K9 spent an entire afternoon trading emails and pictures with me ensuring that I had the harness fitment perfect for the comfort and safety of my dog. I have no doubt that if I have an issue after a few months that they will back up their product and do what they can to make me (and my dog) happy. I am sincerely impressed. One of the pictures was sent to me by Julius-K9 to help me figure out the fitment. Just an example of them taking the time to manipulate one of my pictures to help me out.

Easy to adjust size as they grow. Seems comfortable but firm enough to stay in place if your dog struggles. Dexter is an autism support animal so it's nice that the brand logo is on a velcro strip and can be removed and replaced with service animal patches.

We have tried several different brands of harnesses on our English Bulldog, Moses. They all failed, except the Julius K-9, size 2. It is easy to put on the pup (just saddle him up!). The handle on the back is secure and has helped us control this strong-willed pup on many occasions. It is well-made. We highly recommend it !

I am so pleased with this purchase! The fit, quality and design is Superior. Glow in the dark tags are an xtra bonus, I have two English Bulldogs - ordered one to try and I was so impressed I ordered the second. This harness is perfect for both my dogs.

Great harness, my dog has chewed through other ones but this one seems to be comfortable on her which deters the chewing. It seems very heavy duty and I love that you can personalize it.

As usual with K9 good quality harness. Lots of comments made on the bright jazzy colours, really stand out on a black dog. Would recommend.
