Good to have and always worked well!
Iโve been using this power inverter for almost ten years (Amazon says that I purchased it in 2017 and itโs not April 2026). The device has worked consistently and without any issues at all. Iโve always had it in my vehicle and it has always worked when I needed it. Powering my laptop, smart phone and anything else, it has always worked. Get it and keep it in your vehicle.

Great! โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ
I recently picked up the BESTEK 300W Power Inverter for long road trips and weekend camping, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. โจ Highlights: โข Consistent Power Output The pure 110V AC outlet delivers reliable power for devices like laptops, small blenders, or mini coolers. I ran my MacBook Pro and phone charger at the same time with zero hiccups. โข Dual USB Convenience The built-in 4.2A dual USB ports are a game-changer what a time-saver to charge phones, tablets, and power packs all at once without needing extra adapters. โข Robust & Safe The inverter stays cool even under continuous load, and the built-in safety features (overload, overheat, low-voltage protection) give me total peace of mind. โข Compact & Portable It fits neatly in my glovebox, with a sturdy metal body and a 12V plug that locks securely in the socket. Iโve not faced any looseness or disconnect issues, even on rough roads. โข Reliable Build Quality The unit feels rugged, the fan is surprisingly quiet, and the power switch is solid no loose parts or rattles after weeks of use. ๐ RealโWorld Use: โข During a camping trip, I powered a small coffee maker every morning without draining my carโs battery. โข On a long drive, I kept my phone charged and Nintendo Switch running simultaneously perfect for kidsโ entertainment without arguing over ports. โข My GoPro camera got charged up between hikes, and even emergency inflators and tire pumps worked flawlessly. ๐ Bottom Line: For anyone needing reliable AC and USB power on the go, the BESTEK 300W Car Inverter is a standout choice functional, well-built, and budget friendly. Five stars all the way!

Love it!
Works great! I have no issues even though I saw some reviews about popping fuses and such so beware of that but I use mine in an older dodge ram and it seems to be handling it great. If youโre looking to buy this for continuous non stop use I do not recommend, nothing wrong with the product itself. It will become an issue with continuous non stop use!

a good travel companion so far...
During long car trips, there is a frequent need to charge my camcorder, camera batteries, my laptop and many more. However stopping at a place and plugging them is not convenient and wastes your time. Before buying this, my only solution was to fully charge everything before leaving home and during my hotel stays or bring an extra camera battery. Yet again that is not the perfect solution either. When I ran out of my camcorder charge while on a very scenic trip, the frustration of not being able to record made me decide buying one of these. I first hesitated buying due to some reviewers saying it burnt, or they were almost catching fire etc. (these things actually happen in many electrical items but very rarely once used properly) so I went for that and bought it. So far I have not experienced anything close to that. It is a single piece item: no cords to get loose (permanent attachment of the charging cord to the actual charger) or get lost... I still keep it in its bubble wrap under the driver seat. It is not heavy but heavier than a laptop adapter and it charges small items easily without keeping you off from your way. Having two USB charging ports is a plus too so that you don't need to daisy-chain this to a 12V multiplier that has USB function, however if you have a GPS charger then you still need an 12v multiplier BESTEK usb adapter car cigarette lighter socket car splitter adapter 4 way plug socket usb outlet dc charger power adapter 12V socket 24V dc adapter car charger Ipad Dual USB charger 2.1A MRS152UV to stick both in. (I used this with and without the multiplier and so far it is fine both ways.) It has a fan that works continuously but the fan is not noisy (I don't hear it while the car is on the go) and the unit never got hot even during 1-2 hour long uses. My only concern is the design of the item. It feels like it is metal outside with some sharp edges that can scratch the plastic parts of your car during your trip if not placed well. Besides, I am also worried that it could pose a big risk in case of a crash... I don't want to imagine a brick size sturdy object flying in the car. Therefore it would be best to keep it under the car seat or somewhere safe, if not in use and secure it as much as possible while using on the go.

Useful and reliable
I've had this inverter for over 9 years now, taken it on multiple cross country trips, including ones that have involved car camping where this was our only source of 110 AC power for days at a time. I originally bought it after such a trip where we found the 1 amp USB slots that were factory-installed in our SUV didn't put out enough juice to recharge my wife's iPad while she used it, or even get it to a full charge in a reasonable amount of time when she wasn't using it. Since then this inverter has powered laptops, portable DVD players, iPads, and phones, often all at the same time, while providing steady power and not overheating, thanks to its built-in fan. I think the few people who have had problems with this are either trying to use it with devices that draw too many amps, and/or their car's electrical system is limited and not designed for such an inverter (see further explanation below. So my advice is: 1. Stick to the devices it (and your car's electrical system) were designed to provide power for, and avoid amp-hungry appliances like power tools and coffee makers I've seen mentioned in the low reviews (SMH). 2. Check the specifications of your car's electrical system and its output from its cigarette lighter outlets before you buy this inverter, and before you jump to blaming this inverter when things go wrong. Car cigarette lighters are practically never designed to be on a circuit all by themselves, and depending on the car model the cigarette lighter could be on the same circuit only with low-draw components like dashboard lights and overhead interior lights (many of which would not necessarily even draw current at the same time that often), or it could be on the same circuit as a high-draw component like, say, your car's air conditioning system. That is going to make a big difference as to how much additional load that circuit your cigarette lighter is able to handle, and thus will affect what you can plug into the inverter. I personally have used this in a 2011 Toyota Venza, 2011 Chevy Malibu, 2017 Mazda 6, and a rental in 2016 that was either a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon, and again, never had any issues in any of these cars, but other vehicles (including newer generations of these same models) may have the issues I mentioned above.

Durable and effective.
If you wlare looking for a dependable addition to your vehicle to provide power to your laptop or other electronic devices, this is an excellent option. Well made, quiet, and stylish. Not too big or heavy either. I am quite happy that I purchased this device, it charges my laptop quite well and I can use rapid chargers for other devices like my phone. I also like that it has an on/off switch.

Was great while it lasted *updated*
Living in the middle of nowhere, I use battery powered lights from DeWalt for the time being, use this to plug in the charger during my drives to town. Worked flawlessly for weeks, but now it eats fuses. I swap a new one, charge starts up, but I suspect the adapter took a knock somewhere along the way jarring something loose which I may have to insulate/re solder, there's obviously a short in the unit somewhere now. Glad Amazon carries 10amp mini fuses by 60 for less than 4 out of Canadian tire. Good unit, useful and does the intended job, but treat it gently. *UPDATE* I was wrong, this unit works flawlessly,I now believe the issue was caused by a DeWalt battery charger. I am not an electrical engineer, but suspect that at times the battery in charger sends juice back to the outlet which sends that back to the car system and blows fuses. Not certain, but makes the most sense to a layman like myself. Running a 120w charger for my necessities has no issues with fuses at all. I would think this unit would have some protection for such behavior, but then again, I would rather pop the hood to swap a fuse than disassemble this unit. This unit does exactly what is promised, and I do apologize for any confusion I may have caused. Sturdy unit, would buy again.

Highly recommend!
Exactly what I was looking for, works well. I chopped the wire and added an inline fuse to it so if the fuze was to blow it would blow the one I attached to it instead of the cigarette lighter. Since it takes 28.5 Amps to run I added a 30 Amp fuze.
