Professional Insect and Butterfly Net with 14" Stainless Ring, 26" Net Depth, Strong Aluminum Telescopic Handle Extends to 39", Muslin Banding at the Top

I worked in bird rehab for a number of years and last year a friend of mine had a nest of baby starlings that she gave me to raise which I did. I had them in my chicken coop as they were already fully feathered and just needed to be taught how to feed themselves. Occasionally one would hide in a corner and I would have to catch it to force feed it. As I mentioned this net was a bit too big for my purpose and a smaller net would have been perfect but this came in handy when another bird got stuck on my screened in porch and I was able to catch it. I also caught a flying squirrel in the net that somehow got into our house. It would probably work for catching a regular squirrel that happens to get in your house. A study net with a bigger than necessary handle but it is well made and can come in handy.

Sturdy, fine mesh net and the adjustable handle works well. Long enough net to flip it sideways and keep the bugs alive and unharmed. I plan to use it to look for insects adjacent to trout streams in order to "match the hatch" while fly fishing. Looks like it could work in the water as well to sample nymphs.

It went together easily and seems sturdy and a good size for my purposes. I got it to help catch the birds who fly into my screen porch and then cannot find the door out. It came in a timely manner and was well packed. The only thing I noticed worth mentioning is that it came with a small dent in the metal hoop, but I don't see that it will impact its durability. The hoop is broken down and packed in a bubble wrap plastic bag so I'm sure nobody even noticed it before shipping it to me.

Ordered these for catching butterflies. The material is soft and wont damage the butterflies wings. I like that we can change to pole length whenever and can secure it tightly. These also work great for kids. My only issue is, the large screw at the base of the net ring and pole, keeps loosening. I have tightened it many times and still comes loose.

Got this to safely free butterflies that get trapped in my greenhouse. Nice and long so I can reach between and over plants, all the way to the ceiling.

Got it this morning. It has reduced the carpenter bee population in no time. Worked much quicker than carpenter bee traps. I bought it to capture carpenter bees.

Sturdy, long enough and gets the job done.

Actually bought this to round up my Chickens when they bum rush me out of their henhouse. It’s sturdy and very well made
