I am really surprised at the quality of this enclosure for the money paid. Putting it together is as easy as assembly gets. Everything lines up, and there were extras for every screw used. There may be better enclosures out there, but not for this kind of money. No way I could have made this enclosure for less money. Everything you need for a small to med sized tortious. I highly recommend it.

Pros: Simple, cute, cheap, and functional. It's the perfect size for my little red foot tortoise and should last him a couple of years. The light fixtures are a really nice addition and have a decent amount of adjustability. Cons: The wood had a very strong awful smell at first but luckily faded with time. There was some wood splitting and I didn't even bother screwing in the clasps because they felt so cheap. If you plan on connecting two like I did, the part where they connect doesn't have a great seal so you have to be careful with bedding. Contruction: The instructions were very easy to follow, but it was a very time consuming project. Instructions recommend two people and a power drill, but I didn't have another person or a powerdrill... So it took me around six hours to put these together with just me and a screwdriver.

Got two of these to make a Russian Tortoise terrarium. His night routine includes trying to burrow into the walls even further, but he hasn't even really done more than scratch the paint!

This will honestly be the last habitat I buy for my box turtle until we buy our own house and the turtle gets his backyard home built habitat. Since we live in an apartment it’s always been hard to find set-ups and the space that were big enough for our guy. I had been eyeing this for awhile when our glass tank broke in our recent move. Even better was the price had dropped in all the time I had been watching this item, so now was the perfect time to get it! My little dude loves his new habitat, he’s more active and energetic since we’ve put him in here, and he loves the solid wood/shaded area for comfort and peace. The plastic flooring makes it easy to wipe up and scrub down, and the assembly time on it took about 30 minutes. Plus the size gives him enough room to roam around comfortably. Overall I’m highly satisfied with this purchase.

I got this for a chick brooder and it held 20 chicks perfectly. The light stand adjusts heights, which is awesome. And assembly was pretty easy, it’s much easier with 2 people for sure. Only negative is I had the understanding that the bottom tray would slide out for easy cleaning and it does not, but it is plastic lined on the bottom which helps when the chicks are messy.

The quality is mediocre, but for the price, it’s understandable. We bought two and connected them to make a larger enclosure, which was fairly easy. Our biggest issue was our 2-year-old Greek Golden tortoise being an avid climber, which we did not know about. He used the slats and window lip to climb and flipped himself over 2 times. Luckily I was home when this happened and flipped him back over within 15 seconds. We eventually had to add vinyl flooring to make the walls flat with no lips or grooves. The enclosure also had a very strong smell when first opened, so we left it outside for several days to air out.

Love the overall design. Quality is nice. Not solid but sturdy enough. Only bad I can say it the latch is super thin and can be easily broken.
