A great quality and packaged set, the pre shave and post shave oil do their job and the sandalwood smells nice and earthy. Just add a few drops of water to the soap when lathering with the quality made brush and you get the perfect shave. The classic razor is really heavy and constructed well, the included razor blades are only single edged, so I put in a Wilkinson sword double edged blade and had the best shave of my life. I liked the product so much I bought another sandalwood cream and peppermint soap from the same brand.

What an amazing set. I was only really after the safety razor as my tried and tested one broke via a drop, onto tiles and rest is history. Replacement was looking at £15 easily. Came across this set and was an absolute gem. Even comes with an apron parachute to catch hair, handy for those who self cut bald, like me. Most impressed with the pre oil. After shave balm. Smells and felt wonderful. First time not a single cut. Highly recommend the pre oil.

At first I left a negative review of this product, because I was so angered at having my face ripped apart by the terrible blades. I stick to my assertion the blades in the pack are awful, however the shaving brush and shaving cream are lovely and the smell of the sandalwood in the products I love and so does my wife. At first I believed the sent faded over the day, but I think it is just my nose accustoming to it as my wife says she can still smell it on me late in the day. I suggest if you buy this for the shaving cream, aftershave brush etc and accept that you will need to through away the blades and buy some decent blades, you will not be disappointed, don’t do what I did and try and shave with the included blades, or it will sour you experience and that would be a shame.

Brought as a Christmas present for my brother in law. Cannot comment on the usability etc as it’s not going to be me using, however the brush seems a good one and the smell of the balm etc that I was able to open smelt real nice. Box looks nice quality too if giving as a gift. The packaging makes the product looks more expensive than it actually is which is always a good thing when it’s a gift !!

This is a gift for my friend. He is thrilled with it after several uses, he said it includes everything he needed for wet shaving, the razor is sharp, shaving cream and aftershave balm smells great, bristls on brush is soft and offer rich lathering. He loves it, thanks.

The set includes some very nice products. the shaving cream is very good and the "apron" is very useful. In fact, all of the products are good. The letdown is the razor. It is a very nice metal razor with a good weight and feel to it. Unfortunately, the butterfly closure is so poor that it bends the blades, which means the edge presented to the skin is not straight, causing bad cuts and shaving experience. Luckily, I didn't buy this set for the razor so it is not too important, but the manufacturer does need to consider that many people will buy the set because of the razor.

I bought this as a gift for my brother and he loves it. It comes in a nice presentable gift like box. Only con is that there is a steep learning curve. Takes some gentle practice and a little skill.

I am absolutely amazed after my first try using a safety razor. The difference from my regular shaver and even my electric one is litereally night and day. I'm never going back to regular razors. It's so easy to use and safe to use provided you learn proper technique. I've never had a cleaner shave.

Worth the purchase. My skin feels much better shaving with product. The razor comes with a lot of blades and best quality I have experienced. If it came with a razer holder like other packaged. It would be perfect.

Its an amazing value. I was intrigued and wanted to try the "old school" razor and this kit didn't let me down. I have tried many of the "new" and "fancy" razors, from 3, 4, and even 5 blades and none have ever given me as close of a shave. The aftershave balm smells amazing and lingers all day. The directions were very informative and helpful. The only word of advice I would give, is to be prepared to garner lots of attention from the ladies. The smoothness of your shave and the scent of the aftershave will have them drooling over you. Last thing of note, its nice to have a ritual where you take time out of your busy life and spend it in you. Pampering yourself and reflecting upon your day and just being quiet, calm, and present in the moment with yourself.
