Excellent shaving soap. Builds a thick, creamy lather fast (see photo) with a dense, slick feel that gives outstanding cushion and razor glide. Stop searching. This is the perfect brush soap. Lathers fast and foams up nicely. Has a mild yet masculine smell that won’t conflict with other scents. Feels good to the skin and it lasts forever. Even a tiny sliver kept foaming up when it finally started to melt away. And a reasonable price for such a quality product. Now quit reading and add it to your cart.

Smells good, fits an old shaving soap bowl I have and makes a good nice clean lather with a good smell. Happy with the product, good value for the price. Its a good shave, a good soap and smell.

Pluses: Gentleman Jon produces a quick lather. It sticks to the shaving bowl firmly. The fragrance is very nice and not overwhelming. It smells "natural", not like a cheap imitation from the lab. That's subjective of course. It rinses from the brush and razor well and quickly. Minuses: Being a glycerin formula it doesn't have the strong cushioning of a tallow-based soap. It's good, not great, but enough not to be a problem. It's a small puck of soap, but not expensive. My take: I'll buy it again and find it a very good value for the money. I've tried a fair number of different soaps - this one is (for me) much better than average. I can't say how long it will last as I've only used it for a week or so, but it's not just disappearing (as some others have). Great if you are not sure that the brush and bowl route is for you as it's inexpensive, or if you travel a lot (small and light can be a good thing too). The scent is dialed in well and the shaving performance is a firm good to very good on my medium density beard.

I used to use Williams Mug Shaving Soap, but since that is no longer available, I had to find another option. I like this. It is simple, provides enough lather, but not too much (I don't want / need something like a foam lather). The smell is good without being overpowering. I will probably buy again when I need some, but I expect this will last me close to a year.

Add hot water to your shaving mug. Let the mug and soap get warm. Lathers up quickly and smooth. Wet our face ad brush on lather. Enjoy a great shave. PS the fragrance is mild.

first time trying this soap and i am very pleased ith it , it makes great lather in seconds and it smells nice too , this puck will last a long time , i will definatly buy it again

I ordered this as I fancied a change from the Arko shave soap that I have been using for the past 2 years. This soap has a lovely scent to it (much better than Arko), lathers up nice and easily and is just a joy to shave with. It seems as though it will last a long time as I hardly dented the puck this morning. Can highly recommend

Nice handy product, does need a shaving bowl for storage. But very nice smelling soap

It took my skin four days to recover from using this shaving soap if you have sensitive skin avoid this product! on the plus side I have a nice scented shower soap now.
