Looking for a book which explains how to invest long term with a margin of safety and learn how to find the intrinsic value of companies then this book is for you. It explains it all clearly in an easy digestible way that lets you follow each step. It uses the fundamental principles of Warren Buffet investing techniques proven over 100 years ago, and explains the stock market jargon, and pitfalls to look out for. If you are serious about investing in the long term by yourself, then this book will help.

Similar to my finance module on my course, but this is from the perspective of an investor as oppose to a business. I can see how this can be confusing to someone who doesn’t already know about the finance concepts the book is talking about, but there are YouTube videos out there if your struggling. Some things that this book shed light on was how to find certain accounting information on the web to help make decisions, and what to do with that information. Overall not bad but if you don’t already have knowledge of accounting and finance then you are probably going to need to buy some books on those or watch allot of YouTube.

I read this book and it has some great education around stocks investments, the author shares his personally experiences across many areas of investment scenarios and with each chapter he also has a complicated jargon explained in the most simplest forms, but he has also added acronyms and financial terminologies which are used in the open trading floor. Few things have now started to follow is to look for positive cash flow, moat of a company and following strict rules of investment, an if you don't than well get ready to give away your money to others!

Really decent book for a curious beginner. Would’ve given it 5 stars but I feel like there a bit too much accounting in there.

Book is written in very easy way that everyone can understand what is going on in accounting world and how to choose correct company to get high ROI.

While it is a short read (under 200 pages), it can seem a bit complex once he gets into the formulas and equations, just take your time going through it, because, it’s a book you will circle back to time and time again for guidance.
