Schlage F10 V LAT 622 Latitude Door Lever, Hall & Closet Passage Lock, Matte Black

I bought this to use as a temporary (as in for several years use) front door handle for our new (new to us, but actually old) home. The front door area is completely covered so I'm not worried about the elements getting to it. We plan on upgrading our door eventually but we're not sure what kind of door we will be getting yet so I didn't want to put more money into a "fancy" front door handle when I didn't know if it would be compatible with our next door. I just couldn't handle the round brass handle anymore (before and after photo attached). We had already changed out all the locks right when we moved in so this handle was a nice match to our new schlage keyless entry deadbolt. The doorknob was very easy to install, I did it myself in a couple minutes. It comes with clear instructions too if you're new to switching our handles. The hardware updates along with a fresh coat of paint on the front door have really made a huge difference and we'll be much happier living with this door for awhile longer now that it's been refreshed. This handle sits nice and level and feels good in your hand when you open the heavier metal door. We've had no issues with it at all and the finish is even better than I expected. We got it in matte black which I thought would show fingerprints/smudges but it's actually stayed looking very nice and clean and I don't notice marks of any sort on it any sooner than I would on a "normal" color door handle. All in all it looks great, feels great, and works great and we'd highly recommend this lever! We plan on getting more for our home as we gradually update and replace the interior doors as well (they all currently have the same round brass doorknob as well). Great way to give a door a whole new look without spending a whole lot of money.

We purchased one of the Schlage F10 V LAT 622 Latitude Passage Lock Lever in Matte Black for our pantry door. The handle is a perfect match for the contemporary handles we recently installed on all of the kitchen cabinets. Installation was a snap. The unit was a perfect fit for the old (other brand) unit we took out. The fit and finish was perfect. There were absolutely no imperfections in the finish, no scratches, and no inconsistency in the look of the finish on in of the parts. This is a great, reasonably priced, contemporary looking handle set. Highly recommend. These last for years, a bit pricey but always look good.

Easy to install & looks great with my matte black decor.. Functional handle.

Easy to install, weighty, looks very classy and nice! I got this because I was always going into the basement with a laundry basket and/or other cumbersome items, and was getting sick of trying to twist the old round knob with my hands full. This handle I can just press on with an elbow.

I love love love the look of these door levers. So easy to install my three year old helped me with some of them. However, almost all if not all of them (we bought 18) come with a small dent in the edge of the plate on the door and some with a small series of dents. When installing you have to move it to put it at an angle you can’t see. But the side with the screws can’t be moved. So those dents are where they are. Most people probably wouldn’t notice once installed but we have a couple where there were multiple dents along the top on the screw side of the door. Drives me nuts.

I bought 7 of these and they look great on white painted doors. Easy to install and feel better than knobs. Push down and open in case you carry items and need to use elbow to open

when you grab this handle you can tell its quality, I was very impressed with how they look and how they feel. The finish is very nice on them. Very pleased with purchase

Sooo after years of my cat opening the door to my garage with my old garage handle, I decided to replace to cheap, cat friendly door garage door handle to this sturdier one and LET. ME. TELL. YOU! ITS FANTASTIC! not only is it way nicer than my old ugly cheap gold handle, but my crazy cat can't just jump up and open it to access to wonderous garage of mystery, to select something new to mark his territory on... I love this handle! Now I have a beautiful handle AND a garage that doesn't smell every few weeks!

The handles wobble and do not feel incredible secure. The piece that goes against the door has little cutouts around the top and bottom that I’d rather not see. Otherwise, the quality feels good and installation was very straightforward.

Good fit. Nice look. Decent quality. Less expensive than major home improvement store.
