Perfect travel crate! Roomy, secure & comfortable!
Perfect!!!!! Lightweight yet sturdy, so easy to zip up or take down. Finally exactly what I was needing to keep my dog safe, secure and comfortable while traveling. I first bought a plastic crate but it seemed to small and crowded inside, then I bought a really plush booster seat that she loved, but it lifted her up too high and was getting her easily distracted and trying to climb out of it. This one I tried out in on our living room sofa and left the side door open, she immediately went it to investigate and fell fast asleep and did not wake back up till morning. It is now installed in our back seat of my CRV. There is a loop on the back that you can slide the seat belt thru to keep the carrier from sliding side to side. Then I took the top fastener and placed it over the middle head rest and it easily adjusts for the perfect fit. This is so nice and roomy and easy to take her in and out from either side. I purchased the Medium size and it fits my 15 pound Cavalier spaniel perfect with plenty of room inside. I'm going to keep a large pillow case in the car incase I would need to place it partially over one of the end to block the sun if needed.

Quality, stable, great value.. period!
I purchased two of the K&H Pet Products Enclosed Dog Car Seat for my dogs, and they are exactly what I was looking for. The build quality feels solid, stable, and durable, and I’m confident they will hold up well over time. I have a 5-pound Yorkie and a 15-pound Cavapoo, and the medium size fits both of them perfectly. The crates also fit great in the back seat of my car, which was a major plus for me. I chose the gray color to match the interior of my car, and it blends in really well—giving a nice, clean look. I almost purchased another brand priced around $149, but I’m glad I went with these instead. I was able to purchase two for about the same price as one of the other brand, making this an even better value. I really appreciate the enclosed design and mesh windows—it gives me peace of mind knowing they’re secure while still being able to see out. The multiple entrances make it easy to get them in and out without any hassle. Another bonus is that they fold down and store neatly in my trunk. It also has a small strap in the back that allows you to run the seatbelt through it, which helps keep the carrier secure during travel. We haven’t taken a long trip yet, but I’m looking forward to our first road trip to see how much they enjoy it. I’ll likely add a bit more padding inside to make them even more comfortable. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and well-designed travel option for their pets.

Fits perfect in my Subcompact CUV/SUV - 2023 Nissan Kicks SR Premium. Excellent Product!
Excellent Product! Excellent Quality With Strong Material and Durable Zippers! Extremely Roomy and Tall! A+ I feel much safer having this for my 4 year old Dachshund and 15 year old Chihuahua. They go everywhere with me and I mean everywhere, work, market, store, and are with me 24-7. They are in the car with me 95% of the time. Everywhere I go allows them too and I keep them in a stroller when I go in anywhere. Anyway I got this after almost getting hit by a U-Haul at an intersection and when my Nissan Kicks slammed on the Automatic Emergency Braking right before I even got to Brake my Dachshund flew out of his car carrier and went onto the floor in the back. I missed colliding with the U-Haul by about 12 inches. Since then it made me nervous. I looked videos up online of dogs in cars that are unsecured in a crash and how they can be injured or even killed. I thought what if I was ever in an accident or hit in the side and they were ejected or came into contact with a hard surface or something. So I started looking… I cannot use the harness type safety things as both of my dogs hate them, get tangled, panic and would injure themselves especially my Chihuahua as she flips out super easy lol… So I wanted something enclosed for safety yet airy, open and tall and something that secured in place good with positive reviews. This product checks all of those boxes with flying colors. I got the 29.5”x22”x25.5” one so they have plenty of room as they like to move around some and my Dachshund likes to stand on his hind legs when in the car. I like that it also has a smaller front and center zippered access point that I can easily reach back and have access too and pet them if needed from the driver seat. The material is very strong and durable feeling and holds its shape very well and the zippers seem very strong. I secured the upper strap over the rear center headrest and tightened it. Then I put my rear center seat belt through the belt strap on the center back part and clicked the seat belt into the buckle and pulled it tight. It is secured in place by 2 strong points which make it safe. I am so glad this is the one I chose and it fits in my vehicle perfect. I have a subcompact CUV/SUV - 2023 Nissan Kicks SR Premium and had no issues with fitting this at all. If I needed to I could put it to either side in the rear seat and it would leave room for 1 person to sit in the rear seat with it in place. Right now I have it centered. Again I bought the 29.5”x22”x25.5” and it is absolutely perfect! A+++

Great for Travel with Pets
A must have for traveling with pets. This is a very well-made, easy to use dog carrier. Dogs can relax and see out of all sides while traveling in your vehicle. Stops them from jumping all around and possibly causing injury. The zippers are sturdy and the mesh is well made so they can't put a hole through it. An adjustable strap attaches to the seat rest post. We wouldn't leave home without these for our pups.

Worked great for my cat on a road trip
The reviews were good for this carrier so I decided to give it a try for a road trip with my cat Arnie. Given the COVID-19 spread this year, I was anxious to get home to Colorado to see my folks but didn't want to put them at risk by flying. Having made the drive from California to Colorado many times before, I decided to rent a small SUV and pack up my cat and a few weeks of clothes and items and hit the road with Arnie! He of course hates the small carrier we use to take him to the vet, etc, but once I got him to the car, he would usually hop right in and settle in for the drive. I put the carrier in the rear passenger-side seat, and I opted for the medium size to give him plenty of room. As you can see in the picture, there is enough room in the medium for a much larger dog or a few smaller pets probably if they got along. Arnie is just shy of 12 lbs to give an idea on his size of cat. Not giant but not tiny. The carrier IS rather large as you can see so it's worth noting the dimensions before making your purchase. It fit great in the back of my rented Chevy Equinox but as you can see in the photo, it took the entire passenger-side rear seat, along with about half of the rear-seat passthrough/arm rest area. I was traveling alone with Arnie so I didn't need any space for additional passengers in the rear, but if I did you would've only been able to fit one, and an adult may have felt a bit cramped by the carrier. I have a feeling the carrier would've taken up 2/3 of the back seat of my girlfriend's Hyundai Elantra prob as well, so worth noting for smaller cars if you opt for the medium size. . The carrier has a mesh construction around most of it, which is good because it allows for lots of air flow and visibility (both for his sake and mine to check on him). We were also driving though lots of 100+ degree zones on our drive, so this construction allowed for the rear AC unit to make it right in there to keep him cool. There are zip flaps on both sides of this carrier, which make it easy to transfer the pet into the carrier, though I found it was easiest to do from the driver-side, where i could use the space provided on the vacant seat to maneuver him into the carrier. There is also a large zip flap on the front of the carrier which I was able to use to provide water, treats, or even give him some pets from the front seat. The sun did get a bit intense, so I placed a blanket over the top and half of the front to give him some privacy and respite from the direct sun and he seemed to appreciate that as well. I dinged this carrier mainly just on "Sturdiness" (3 out of 5) because the front mesh panel sagged a bit on my trip, and I wish it had been more taut. By sagging inward, it did probably take 1-2" out of the front of the carrier for open space for Arnie. He was fine, but it just felt a bit like a design flaw that could be fixed in future iterations. Also because the carrier is designed to fold down for storage (which is great!), it unfortunately is nowhere near sturdy enough to feel good about carrying say from the car to a hotel room or home with the pet inside. At all stops I would transfer Arnie back to his smaller carrier to get him from the car to inside. It is worth noting that the carrier does have a strap that you can flip behind the headrests to help "secure" it to the seat, along with a strap you can loop a seatbelt through. I say secure in loose quotes because it mainly kept it from moving too much when braking heavily, etc but by no means was it firmly anchored in place, which should come as no surprise to anyone but is worth mentioning. Aside from the minor sturdiness issues I mentioned, this carrier was great overall. My cat slept comfortably for many hours in the back seat on our days of drives and I would highly recommend it (or one of the other sizes larger or smaller in conjunction with ones needs) for a comfortable space for your furry friend while in the car.

Great quality for basic use
i bought this for my cat to give her more room in my passenger seat, although she has the space, the padding wasn’t firm enough for her to be sturdy and not move around from the gravity of the car. It worked fine for about a week. But I didn’t like how low it sat. So me, Mr. handyman that I am I DIY’d a riser to support her at a higher level. (if I can see out the windows, so can kitty). The build is very sturdy as kitty has attempted to escape multiple times. As seen in pictures, I didn’t like that the front where the zipper is was sagging so I added rods to support it. Also, I went to the store and bought a temporary bed/mat, to ground her more to the carrier. I still have more to adjust in order to make it perfect for my car. Also, the riser that I built, I would recommend adding foam/support due to weight creasing the seats. I would also like to recommend to the designer, if possible to add a leash system to the inside , clips on all of the zippers (for the escape artists), and an extra support rod above the front zipper (side to side). But all together this is a pretty solid carrier/crate for travel use.

This carrier is absolutely fantastic!!
OH MY GOSH!!!! this backseat travel carrier is absolutely fantastic!! I have a 10 week old puppy, I put the carrier on my floor and opened both ends and he went right in with a toy!! I put the carrier immediately in my backseat, secured it and went for a drive. Not one peep did he make. I brought his fav toy, he played with it a minute or two and went right to sleep!! SCORE!!!! Don’t hesitate with this purchase!!! It’s easy to assemble, pack up, my puppy is safe, and the quality is superb!!

Good Carrier, Bad Cat
We recently moved from Las Vegas to Florida. Unfortunately, the people we sold our house to didn't want to keep our stupid cat, so we had to take her with us. She is a very bad cat so I don't blame them. She keeps the house quite haunted and her demeanor is best described as "a jerk". At least that's what I tell the vet when they ask. They don't usually believe me until they have to sedate her in order to complete an exam of any kind. Anyway, this feral stray that I live with needed to travel to Florida somehow. We first thought we should check her as luggage on the airplane... but apparently they don't do that anymore? They make you CARRY THE CAT onto the plane so you can alienate all of the other passengers on the flight! Air travel has really gone down hill. While we were selling our home in Vegas, we had to put this cat in the carrier box a few times to show the house. She NEVER quit meowing and usually peed and pooped in the box after about 15 minutes. The box was literally moving around in the back seat hissing and growling. Just a little box of hate and fury... and eventually, poop. If I took this cat on a commercial flight people would definitely mutiny and I'd end up on some tragic no-fly list. I'd rather travel with an actual baby because this cat is louder than a baby! I don't think people would judge me as hard for bringing a human child rather than my pet who has acts like a rabid raccoon on steroids. So it was decided that the cat would need to ride in the car as it was driven across all of the states. This was a 4 day trip and I am pleased to report that by day 4 the cat finally STFU and did not meow. AS MUCH. The first 3 days were hell. I'm so glad I made my boyfriend drive her. I just flew to Florida by myself even though the cat was all my idea. I'm the worst and this is why I deserve such a bad cat. We bought a tiny "kitten" litter box for our feline nightmare...even though she is a grown cat who should have proper manners. The little litter box fit on one side of the carrier and she did use it during the drive. (Meowing the whole time and while making direct eye contact as she peed.) I'm also pleased to report that the medium size carrier 24x19x17 fit in the front seat of my 2 door 2019 Honda Civic. (Like it BARELY fit, but it fit.) I am not sure it would have fit in the backseat. Was the cat comfortable? No, obviously she was not because she's awful and nothing suits her. She was mad the whole time, she will only be happy when she is dead. At some point my boyfriend tried to comfort her and quell the incessant meows by putting his hand into the door. When he did this she promptly tried to escape through the opening. He did not open it again, but she spent a good chunk of time trying to devise a way to escape from the carrier and presumably jump on his face to cause a car crash. This cat ruins lives. In addition to the meowing and escape attempts, she did other delightful things like refuse to drink water or be nice to us ever again. (Not that she was a nice before, she's always been bad but sometimes she's less mean. Not anymore.) Anyway, none of this has anything to do with the carrier and everything to do with my cat being the absolute worst. The carrier was great. She did not escape from it and it made it through the trip relatively unscathed. It was the best solution I found for giving the cat as much room to be happy as possible. Her poor choice to be unhappy and make everyone miserable have no bearing on the success of the product. If you have a good cat who deserves comfort and harmony, you should get this. If you don't have a cat, I would not recommend inviting such evil into your life.

Securely fits on backseat
I researched dog car carriers and none of them provided the most crucial thing I needed - to stop my dog from standing up on hind legs and barking out the window! Driving was so stressful because she would be able to look out the window and bark at people, other cars, everything! This is the best on the market! Securely fits on backseat, comfortable for dog - she can lie out or see me driving through the netting and stops her from getting stressed by looking out the back windows. Shame it has to come all the way from the US but there just isn't a better one of the backseat in the UK.

K&H Pet Travel Safety Carrier
This is the BEST travel crate I have purchased over many years. It offers plenty of air. I have two small dogs that travel in the medium size. They can easily stand and move around in it. Being able to secure it with a seat belt offers added safety. It is very well made and of high quality. I have spent probably thousands of dollars, trying to get the perfect travel crate over the last 5 years and at last I have found it. I highly recommend it.

Best carrier crate to have!
It allows my Sheltie to comfortably lay down and also stand up and adjust with ease. I also like that you can secure it to headrest/put seat belt through back loop. It also has a very nice soft mat and good quality netting with 3 points of entry for your pup. I got the large size and takes up side and middle of back seat in car.
