Amazing little big ice cube tray!!!
Makes 6 fairly large, but not over-sized ice cubes that are easy to extract from the rubber mold. 1) There's the holding tray for housing your blue ice cube mold. 2) The actual blue rubber ice cube mold for making your ice cubes. 3) The cover that goes on top of everything to keep the water from spilling out so you can transport the unit into the freezer. What's great about this item is that the ice cubes are nice and big and easy to extract from the mold. They fit most glasses, even tall and narrow. Because the cubes are fairly large, they last much longer and you don't need as many. Our fridge's ice cube maker hasn't worked the day we bought the refrigerator. We will not buy another fridge with ice maker ever again. We also don't like buying bagged ice because the ice eventually freezes together and a third of the bag becomes useless. The bagged ice also takes up considerable room in our freezer. We liked the first tray we got so much, we purchased a second one so we could make a dozen at a time. It does take longer to freeze them because they're bigger, but after we make a dozen or so, we don't care how long it takes because we just reach in the bucket we put them in and use them for whatever we need them for. OXO makes pretty decent stuff too. We've bought other kitchen items from them and so far have been happy with our choices. If you're tired of dealing with little cubes and the hassle of storing them, then this may be the item that changes all of that.

NICE CUBES!
I once had some of the Ice Ball makers and they were not worth the effort that it took to use them. So, I started looking at big cubes. There are several brands out there to choose from, but Oxo typically has a good reputation. I was particularly drawn to this product because it makes 6 cubes (most make 2 or 4) and because it has a hard case that is stackable. So far, I am very pleased. I have two of these and with distilled water they make perfect, crystal clear, GIANT ice cubes. This goes great with a rocks glass and some Bourbon. It can be difficult to get the cubes out of the tray; especially if you keep your freezer as cold as mine. However, if you let them sit at room temperature for a couple minutes; then you can pop the cubes right out. I liked the first one I bought so much that I bought a second one a few days later.

Great quality + No Spill, but it comes with some small drawbacks.
I got this ice cub maker for some fun in drinking beverages because of the large ice cube it produces. After using it for a month or so I'll say that this did not disappoint me. However, some small things are bothering me. Pros: - After filling up the water and closing the lid, the water inside would not spill unless you shake or move it hard. It's one of the things I love most about this tray. With the average ice cube tray it's common to spill the water when moving it from the water fountain to the fridge. - No intense plastic smell. Couldn't smell anything even the first time use it. Be sure to wash it before use though. - Decent ice size. The ice cube size is honestly smaller than what I expected. Around 2.5x the average refrigerator ice cube size. However, they fit into basically every cup perfectly, whether a Stanly size cup or a Mark cup. - Great quality. The cover does not feel like cheap plastic; it's strong and stable. The silicon for the ice maker is also pretty high quality built with no smell of plastic or rubber. Cons: - a weird taste after the ice is fully melting. - sometimes hard to remove ice blocks from the silicon. I recommend leaving it at room temperature for a bit after you take it out of the refrigerator. - hard to get rid of the water on the silicon ice maker, would freeze up and stick on the refrigerator sometimes. After using it for around 5-6 times I came back to the refrigerator ice because of the trouble of taking out the ice from the tray. Would recommend it for the ones who want a large ice cube or don't have an ice maker, but not for those who already have an ice maker in their refrigerator

Easy to remove & giant ice lasts better
These ice cubes don't last as long as I'd hoped, but they do last a lot longer than normal ice cubes. Once you know the tricks to getting the cubes out of this silicone mold, it is an easy process. Look at the tray in landscape orientation, so you see holes 1-2-3 and below them 4-5-6. Assuming you've already frozen them for 2 days (one day is not enough for these large cubes; allow 2 days), flip the mold over and press out cube #2 and then #5. The first one you push out, will only protrude a centimeter, perhaps, and you'll have to grab it and pull it out. #5 will come out a bit easier. Now for the corners (1, 3, 4, and 6), just make sure the outer corner of the mold isn't going to catch on the corner of the cube (I roll it back below the top of the cube) and then you can press the bottom of that slot and the cube will come right out on its own. This is a quality product, so the silicone doesn't tear. I taste NO flavor in the ice from these trays. Put the silicone mold into the hard plastic bottom carrier before you fill the slots with water. The carrier makes it easy to carry from sink to freezer, and the hard lid snaps onto the bottom, making these stackable in the freezer.

Great for Ice. Great for Matcha Cubes to pop into your Latte.
This is fantastic if you want big cubes. I bought the smaller sized one also, which I do not like. This one, the cube pop right out. The smaller one, I gave up and let the cube melt. (trash)

Many Uses for these Handy Trays
These are very useful beyond simple ice cubes. Foremost, it should be noted that these are LARGE cubes. That's a good thing if that's what you're looking for, but should be noted if you're looking for tiny cubes. So what can we do with these LARGE cubes? My favorite use for them is to make frozen cubes of the my heart beets Indian food cooking recipes found online. Make a bunch of cubes, freeze, and then pop a few into each dish for quick and easy (and delicious!) Indian meals. Add one of these presses (https://amzn.to/45sN1gx ) and some quality cheesecloth and make your own paneer! Super fun, super easy, super delicious! That said, for their stated use of ice cubes, these are quality trays. Super sturdy, stackable, and the lid makes it really easy to transport around the kitchen with minimal spillage. Another good grips product for the win!

Silicone too stiff/thick
These are fine, but not great. I used them for a couple of years before I finally got tired of nearly breaking a finger trying to get the cubes out (and the option of leaving the trays on the counter to allow some loosening just ended up creating excess liquid, causing the cubes to freeze together in the cube bin). I also never used the white plastic frames, so I can't comment on that feature except to say that I didn't find it necessary. I passed these OXO trays on to someone else and bought more of the Tovolo large 6-cube trays. The silicone is not as thick, so the cubes can more easily be pushed out, and the one I bought 3+ years ago is still holding up.

Excellent - for what it is supposed to be, not what it isn't
If you want nice, evenly sized, large ice cubes that aren't a hassle to make, this is your product. It's pretty easy to use, even when removing the frozen cubes from the mold, which is the downfall of many similar products. Like most Oxo products, it's well made and durable. But if you want to make home versions of the large crystal clear ice cubes that you get in restaurants and bars, this isn't it. No matter how pure the water or how long you boil it first, they will still be at least half cloudy. And that might suit your needs just fine. But for the crystal clear cubes, you need something like this: https://a.co/d/cUHy2my

Good quality
Good quality, repeat purchase. It’s sturdy and easy to fill and use. Not flimsy at all. Push one ice cube out at a time. With cover is easy to stack.

Easy to use
This works wonderfully, the ice cubes come out easily and the material seems to be strong enough to stretch. No strange smell or taste. The lid and tray are also a very useful addition, although sometimes a bit of ice may get stuck to the lid.
