Real wood poplar veneer drum lamp shade

I was intrigued by these lampshades long before I purchased them. I went back and forth between the birch and poplar before deciding on the poplar. I couldn't be happier with the result. The shades look very nice when the lamps are off, but when the lamps are on, they are stunning. While a bit more expensive compared to a similar sized traditional lampshade, they are well worth the cost. They are finely crafted and absolutely beautiful. They were packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. I also reached out to the seller regarding having a larger shade made and he responded quickly with pricing and information. Thanks so much!

First off I'd like to say the shipping was a lot faster than I thought possible coming from Alaska. I received the first shade just a few days after I ordered it. Unfortunately, it was cracked when I received it. I contacted the seller and he sent a new one right out. Had it within a few days too. The quality of the shade is great and it's left unstained so you can either enjoy the natural beauty of it or stain it to match your lamp if you choose to (golden oak stain really makes it pop). These are not mass made, they are handcrafted by a talented craftsman. I will be buying more for future lamp products. Just take a look on a few popular craft type sites and see what others are asking for wooden lamp shades. These poplar shades are not only really nice but a great deal as well.

Absolutely stunning, the shade appears light beige when the lamp is off, and is true to photos when the light shines through! The shade came well-packaged, and the seller was quick to follow up, making sure everything arrived in good condition. My mistake was not measuring the washer before buying, so we had to make some adjustments to the lamp for the shade to fit. But that was my fault, as it clearly states 1/2" in the description. Also note that the shade is not perfectly cylindrical, most likely due to the nature of the wood.

This is a top notch quality product. I absolutely love it. The quality is good and it is just as beautiful as it shows in the picture. I jus love how the wood grain is highlighted when it is lit. I would recommend this product to anyone thinking about a purchase.

I do love the craftsmanship that went into making this lamp shade. It is a very beautiful shade and the shipping was wonderfully fast. However, the shade is much much smaller than I needed for my lamp. There needs to be different varieties of sizes to choose from, especially for the price.

This lamp shade was exactly what we were looking for. The base of our lamp was carved by my husband's grandfather, and we wanted something that would match well. It is perfect and beautiful when the light is turned on.

We love our lamp shade. The craftsmanship is top notch. Dan worked closely with us for a custom order. I would highly recommend Dan for his work. He also had outstanding customer service and prompt shipping and delivery. One side note, you will need to buy a lamp harp separately from the shade.

This piece is beautifully crafted and was packed well. The support for mounting the shade is very sturdy and is of high quality. Overall I love this lamp shade. My only desire would be if there were options for larger dimensions.
