RPM REV Limiter Compatible with 1997+ Club Car DS & Precedent Gas Golf Carts FE290 FE350 Relpace 1019094-01

Doesnt fit in the factory location which is too close to the engine anyway for heat reasons. Relocated, plug and play works great.

I found what others had about the bad fitment. I bent my bracket to go around the new one but just couldn't get it to line up. I decided to see if I could remove part of the case and found there was a smaller case within the outer shell. Makes me wonder if the "guts" are an original and the extra case was to off brand it? To do it again I would have looked further and removed the whole shell. By removing two small straps and rebending to original again, it fit great. I was glad because if it would have worked by rebending, there would have been a gap between the bracket and mating surface that would be more prone to vibrating loose. Its in there solid like the original now. Other than that, the wire connectors seemed a little hokie and didnt clip real tight, so if I have problems ill check there first to see if they fell apart. Its in such an awkward place, or I would have tried to put new connectors on, but it was finally installed so I just rolled the dice.

Perfect fit

First problem was that new part would not plug in as the barrel connectors were incorrect. After replacing the connectors, found the new part to be to big to fit in the factory bracket. At this Time I checked the listing to make sure I ordered the correct part. By the listing info provided, I did order the correct part. So after all this I got it installed just to find out that during acceleration it thinks that the rpm is to high and starts to kill the rpm, thus causing a major throttle surge. My kart is not modified and is still in it factory settings. I Re installed the old part and the cart runs normal. I purchased this rev limiter because may cart would sometimes stall when very warm. I gambled on this part and LOST!

The RPM Limiter was slightly larger than the one I took off, however, it fixed the problem. I was surprised at the low cost and how quickly it was delivered. I'm a happy camper...

Poor description. 1/4 in too wide for 2003 Club car ds. As some other reviews stated they modified it to work. Haven't decided if we are doing the same or returning.

The limiter was shipped quickly and it worked after some adjustments. The box was too big to fit where the previous one was. I sent a question through Amazon as to whether there may be one a smaller size that would do the same job. I never got an answer. So I made a new mounting bracket to hold the new part and it worked. The only issue I had was the communication. And perhaps the seller never saw the question.
