I have largely decided to go with a Victron off grid system to power my new hobby tools, and am learning how to use this system. The possibilities are almost endless, to suit a huge range of possible applications - from off-grid static, or mobile, or grid tied in any of dozens of countries. From tiny domestic systems to almost industrial scale installations. This item is the heart of any of these systems, and needs a little time to understand how it integrates any pv system together, providing control, information, as well as doing all this safely. I bought this to replace a raspberry Pi with venus OS installation, that got damaged in a flood. It does just what you’d expect of it really. The only slight downside is that it’s a bit power hungry for what it is, taking three times the juice that the Pi did. It’s victron though and although pricey it has all the signs of great build quality and reliability you’d expect from there products.

I love tech and getting it to work right. The Cerbo GX ticks all my boxes in being able to update all equipment software at the touch of a button, track and trace all linked equipment and control all aspects of power setup. Works effortlessly through the VRM portal app which means a screen is not really required as any native smart screen (phone, iPad etc) will run it. I've found the iPad app to produce the best display, android is good but iOS is polished. Links via WiFi and cable connection are a breeze, can even set it up as a WiFi hub if wanted. Be aware the Cerbo GX Bluetooth link is for initial setup and programming issues only, the Cerbo GX does not connect to nor communicate via Bluetooth to any equipped systems. It only communicates with connected equipment via cabled connections. The networked communication setting found on individual equipment is for when all Bluetooth equipped items connect via Bluetooth to each other and not via the Cerbo. Highly recommended.

Used in our RV setup and great for being able to monitor our installation of multiplus, batteries, solar chargers etc. Easy to set up and use. Have not bought the hdmi display for it yet but very easy to sry up and use on my android and ipad.

I took one star away because my phone will not connect to Bluetooth properly but VRM works great. Bluetooth works fine with all my other devices. The device will not give me the option for correct time zone, its an hour ahead, the time zone works correctly on VRM.

Dificile de le configuré, interface nul + bug. Après des pas mal de galère c'est utilisable....
