Liquitex Professional Effects Medium, 473ml (16-oz), Gloss Pouring Medium

This is the best medium I have ever used! The effects you get with this medium are more than worth the cost! I have went through 2 gallons of this stuff and am on to my third. I love it because it is self-leveling, doesn't crack or craze, it doesn't affect the opacity of the paint when mixed, and it has really has taken my work to the next level. This is such a fun product to work with but it is VERY MESSY! Do not get it on your skin. Wear long gloves. I got this on my hands, arms and a bit on my legs and after about 2 hours of scrubbing with the rough side of a sponge, rubbing alcohol, a loofa, a nail brush and a washrag... I finally got most of it off (along with a bit of skin, OUCH)! It dries fairly fast and feels like a rubbery plastic but really does makes cool effects! It is very shiny when dry. I made a 3 piece painting set with it and it sold in less than 3 days off of my Facebook page! It's worth trying out, just remember to protect anything you don't want it to touch (including yourself).

You will not get cells with this no matter how much silicon you add. It gives a shiny finish thats really nice. As long as you dont expect cells, your finished painting will be lovely.

Easy to use, however mine didn’t have a cap on it

This product worked very well for it's intended purpose. When mixed with paint and free poured onto canvas, the paint did not blend at all. The paint was also very free moving which is mainly what I was looking for The only negative thing I have to say is that the lid that comes on this product is the absolute worst. It does not seal at all. This does not seem to affect the quality of the product but if you tip it over the lid IS coming off And if the lid comes off and it spills on anything it will NEVER come out. For example, it spilled on my carpet and hit a sock and part of a plastic gallon of water. The sock and gallon of water are now a permanent part of my carpet. Replacing that section of carpet is litterally my only option. THIS STUFF IS SUPER STICKY. LIKE THE BEST GLUE EVER. As long as you remember that and are really carefull not to knock over this container you will be fine. If not, you will be replacing your carpet/whatever this stuff hits Bottom line, the product is great but the container is litterally the worst ever. So if you decide to buy this, just put it in a different container or be super, super careful not to knock it over

This is my absolute favorite pour medium, more then worth the money. Cells are beautiful even without silicone oil. Easy mixing; maybe 30 seconds until color and medium are completely blended. It pours consistently and smooth. When pulling your pour, everything moves as 1 as long as you get the viscosity consistent. I will be buying more and more of this medium. There is really nothing else on the market with the quality and consistency of this medium. 5 out of 5 would reccomend.

Great pouring medium! Even though I think it's way too expensive for a pouring medium which probably costs pennies on the dollar to make, this was a great deal compared to other sellers like Michael's, Blick, etc.. it's hard to find in the large tub. But definitely a better pouring medium compared to Sargent, Deco, etc.

I like this product for its workability. The mixing ratio is rather high therefore it goes quicker than most mediums. It is rather expensive. Im hoping its durability & integrity maintaining color will justify its cost.
