It’s easy to think this pillow is expensive…and it is really I guess BUT when it comes to comfort and getting a good nights sleep when out camping/back packing this pillow is worth every penny. Just ask yourself how much would you pay for a decent nights sleep?

When I bought this, I did question myself about the price. However, After lots of use, I can comprehensively say its absolutely brilliant. Used all Over Europe on my bike !

Just the job. Folds up really small in to a bag which folds inside when in use. Blows up to create the bulk of the pillow but then there's a lovely soft layer on the top. Works well with my Nemo sleeping bag where I can stuff it in to the hood and it doesn't move around. However, without that feature on my sleeping bag it would move and there doesn't appear to be any of the standard ways to attach it (straps etc)

I found the pillow case very nice and soft against the skin, but a bit loose with a tendency to slip around on the bladder inside. The bladder itself was very crinkly when I moved my head. There's a great deal of hype around this pillow, but my experience of it is that it's overpriced and not any more comfortable than similar competitors (I tried 5 pillows in my quest for the perfect one). I ended up buying the much cheaper Hikenture pillow (it goes by other names as well) which is a bit heavier, but more comfortable in my opinion. If you don't mind taking a weight penalty in return for a good night's sleep after a long day hiking, then my first choice would go to the Flextailgear Cozy Pillow. It's heavy, but worth every gram it provides in comfort.

the pillow is just about as wide as my regular pillow so I have not had any issues with my head sliding off. I am a side sleeper & I have been very comfortable whilst sleeping. The pillow cradles my head & neck perfectly & in-line with my spine. The carry pouch is built in to the back of the pillow. Since the pillow arrived rolled, there are no instructions how to pack the pillow for traveling so it's trial & error. 4 ounces or 112 grams so pillow is very lightweight push in to close inlet valve cons: no retention strap but the stickiness of the back keeps the pillow from moving much. I have noticed some minor pillow movement after waking but not enough to cause me neck pain or loss of sleep. The inlet valve is not self-sealing. If you stop blowing air into the pillow, air will escape out immediately. I have found that if I close the valve with my tongue @ that point, I can stop too much air from leaking out. Cuz of the air loss, it is not a firm stiff pillow but tight enough if that's how you like your firmness.

Does the job. Comfortable, easy to inflate, lightweight and compact when travelling.

At first there was a strong foam smell on the pillow but after about a week it dissipated and now there is no smell. The pillow has a nice layer of foam on the top that makes it much more comfortable than a regular blow up pillow. Makes my ear happy. Lol The valve is solid and with weeks of daily use it has held its air very well… no leaking. It has a built in pouch for storing that works well and is very convenient. The colour is very nice and comparable to the pictures on amazon. I would highly recommend.
