Works Well on Terracotta
This bit was a great value because it performed exactly as I had hoped. I used the bit to drill a hole to insert a spigot into a terracotta planter. The pot will be used with a rainchain to collect and divert roof runoff water. I used a regular handheld drill on fast speed at first to make an indentation into the pot and then I used slow speed to drill the hole. I poured water over the area about every 5 seconds to keep the pot from cracking. I found the bit easy to use because I didn't even have to press hard with the drill and I have small hands and am not partcularly strong. The hole (lol) process took less than five minutes and the bit seems barely worn. In the pictures, the worn bit is on the left. I used size 25mm for a 1 inch hole but had to enlarge the hole slightly because of the threads on the spigot; the 26mm bit would have worked better. I think I got my money's worth.

Does the job
I brought this for a specific job, cutting hole for shower valve control and it worked great, just keep adding a little water and it's like butter on porcelain with minimal dust. It can be hard to start because it wants to jump around, what I did was use a dremmel diamond tip bit and scored the tile where I was gonna drill, then I started with this bit at 45 degrees and went slowly to perpendicular

Worked well despite disposable build quality
Worked to cut through an inch thick ceramic planter without causing damage. I don't feel right giving it 5 stars because these are obviously cheaply produced and not meant for longevity, but beyond that they did the job for a good price.

Good value. Nice clean hole drilled through terra cotta pots.
Did the trick drilling out a larger diameter hole in the base of terra cotta pots. Spray painted the exterior of the pots, flipped them upside down, and inserted solar-powered tiki torches in them and it works and looks just fine. Use a drill press and a small amount of water while drilling, drill down very slowly... and ALWAYS wear safety glasses! Very good value.

Good product!!
These things are perfect for drilling holes in the bottom of my pots! Easy to follow the directions (youtube). Good value for the money. A hardware store tried to sell me something for $25.00. Seem to be durable also.

Cheap but do the job.
it's good these come in a 15 pack. I used 12 of them drilling several holes in marble and tile. The base material is soft/cheap, so it doesn't hold up. It overheats easily. But, they are inexpensive enough that it got the job done and I'm satisfied. NOT a professional's tool, but if you have a job or two to get done - these should work.

Good deal
Solid! Went right through 3/8 glass with a little patience of course!

No alignment drill bit
I can't believe I ordered this. I was adamant about having a alignment drill bit attached to the hole cutter itself. Guess i goofed and this is probable what the seller is hoping for. Gonna need to drill a hole in a piece of wood and use it to align the bit! BS
