I bought this originally to help protect my duty pistol from getting damaged by my center console. I’ve since fallen in love with the grip and have purchased it for all of my pistols. You can definitely feel the grip improvement. It’s a a great grip without feeling like sandpaper. Also very easy to install.

Love my TALON Grip. I work in Law Enforcement and in the hot summer with my hands that get sweaty I was looking for something to help with my grip on my firearm and make it feel more secure in my hand. This was the right choice, super easy to install. I have bought it again for my new duty weapon and still works great.

These grips are very cool, and I like them alot. I'm an experienced recreational shooter and also carry a handgun vocationally. I opted for these to augment the factory grips on a Glock 47, and they literally make the gun stick to my hand. There is a tremendous friction improvement, that is functional, but not uncomfortable at all. Out of the box, these grips are a little abrasive, but soften up after a little use, kind of like sandpaper as it loses its roughest grit. Once they're worn in a little, they are perfect. I've fired thousands of rounds since installing these, and I love them. I gave them only 4 stars, because I have noticed some spots where the grips have worn around the edges a little but its worth noting that they're on a duty gun that is subjected to more-than-normal handling and sub-optimal environments. The wear I've seen also has not had any meaningful performance effect. Installation: The install on these is super easy. They supply detailed instructions and everything you need to get them on, and the grip will fit your gun perfectly. I did have a slight overlap of maybe a 16th of an inch where the 2 sides of the grip met, which I opted to cut off with an X-acto knife, but this was purely personal preference, and was not required. Considerations: 1. As I mentioned above, out of the box, these grips are very gritty and need some time to break in. During this time, I would be careful carring the handgun concealed under clothing, because clothing will 100% stick to the grip, which will almost certainly mess up your draw. Additionally, if these grips contact your body at all, it will absolutely scrub your skin until it smooths out a little. If you're wearing the gun on a duty rig, you'll probably experience this too, when your forearm bumps into the new grip, but its not really a problem. 2. Be mindful of how your weapon is equipped. If you use palm swells or backstraps that are larger than stock, you do need to purchase this for the equipment that's on the gun. If you ordered correctly the grip should be perfectly compatible with your gun and backstrap. Overall this is a great buy. I highly recommend it for new shooters and female shooters who might be more prone to "limp-wristing" the weapon. I'd recommend this to experienced shooters too. If you're already good, these will only make you better.
