So although this is a cheap version of go pros own underwater case this one is much less. In fact so cheap it was worth it to me to purchase 2! Thus far it has been on 3 different outings and directly hit 2 times. Both times it was directly where the camera lense would have been hit. No cracks at all! Though I cannot say I used it underwater having that extra layer of protection helps. Yes sound is effected but you can still hear audio from it, though slightly muffled as to be expected. One could drill some small holes for better audio but may allow paint inside the housing. Overall it was very easy with the clamping piece being able to provide a secure stable latch and prevent paint from getting in the seal. It's versatility to fit a few different models also makes it handy as a one size fits all. For the price you can't go wrong!

I bought this case for extra protection during a recent trip to the Bahamas. The case worked well and it was easy to use. I'm glad I purchased it not only for extra waterproof protection but also to prevent the lens of the GoPro from getting scratched if it got banged up against a rock or was sitting in the sand. I had no issues with fogging or any kind of glare or artifacts while taking pictures and videos. Highly recommend!

Not sure what to say, it fits my Go-Pro like a glove. I never putting this underwater so I have no idea if it's waterproof I just put it on my camera to protect it a bit.

The TELESIN waterproof case did exactly what it promised. I used it in heavy rain and later in clear seawater, and it kept my GoPro completely dry with no signs of leakage. The build feels sturdy and the buttons remain responsive even underwater. The only reason I’m giving it 4/5 instead of 5 is that it adds a bit of bulk and takes a little effort to open and close securely. Still, for the price and peace of mind, it’s a great buy.

I ordered this to be able to mount my GoPro Hero 11 or 12 Black on the exterior of my pickup truck. I drilled as many holes as possible into the back of the mount. I also drilled an elongated hole for the USB connection. The GoPro is to be powered solely via USB. The mount will provide protection from bugs, stones, debris when mounted to the exterior of the truck. All the holes in the rear cover simply act as air ventilation to prevent overheating when used for extended duration! The camera is powered via USB cable only, (TUSB=1) run to internal of vehicle 12v switched. The control is via QUIK. I’d rather replace a $15 clear plastic case than risk damage to the GoPro lens, front screen, or body! I’ve done the same for my Hero8 Black. I must only remember to save video prior to vehicle shut down! A sacrificial case is worth the $$$!

I had to get a protection cover for my new GoPro ASAP, so I grabbed this one without thinking twice only looking at the price.. THEN after I realized - oh.. this is mainly for underwater, maybe I should have grabbed one of those all-in-one packs... The case looks solid, but I have NOT tested it in water (yet) as I had not got this for that purpose :| BUT it seems to seal well, and looks robust enough to be waterproof in shallow water. As a general protection case, which stupid-me had gotten it for, it doesn't do well because: - Integrated mic is useless as it's covered inside the 'waterproof' case. Duh. - Touchscreen is inaccessible (only the bottoms on top and side - they are extended out to the case by its own buttons). DUhhhh - All cable connectivity is out - and when you want to connect it, you have to remove it from the cover which means any accessory connections (handles, tripods etc.) will have to be removed as they are attached to the case, not to the GoPro. DUuugugugghhh haha I won't tick off any stars, since the product didn't do anything wrong, it was just my oversight. AND I THINK this would be a good waterproof case... test still to be done... Leaving the review to advise people who are considering this only for general protection.

If you are thinking of using your GoPro underwater then this is a must. Fits well and it does increase size of camera but not to much.

Good one, has excellent waterproofing capability.

We used this camera on our recent ski trip, it worked well, producing nice and clear videos, it's easy to operate and play later on tv. I got the weather protective case even though the camera itself is supposed to be waterproof, it worked well. For all-day (skiing) recording you need an additional extra long-life battery.
