Saloniture Professional Ergonomic Saddle Stool, Cream - Adjustable Hydraulic Seat, Rolling Spa Salon, Massage, and Medical Office Chair with Swivel Wheels

Bought the blue one for use in my art studio. It came packaged well, and was absurdly easy to put together (came nearly fully assembled). Took like 2 minutes. Keep an eye on the measurements. This is shaped like a bike seat, but it's like 3x the size of a bike seat (which does make it more comfortable). At the right height setting, it really helps my posture, and the height variation is extensive compared to pretty much all similar stools I've looked into. The blue color was exactly how it was pictured- kind of a muted blue, and looks great. Only small issue I have is with the wheels. I knew this may be an issue as others I looked into seemed to have smoother/stronger wheels but that blue color was perfect for my studio, and I didn't want to pay an extra $30 for wheels in my small studio. They're not BAD or anything, but they could be smoother and sometimes have a little trouble with low pile carpet. The 360° swivel is super smooth- can spin around several times- my kid loves that. I find it to be pretty sturdy (I'm about 5'4'', 140lbs). All in all, I'm super happy with it, and would recommend this product. Pixtures are lowest and highest seat settings.

This little stool is amazingly comfortable. I had a double fusion followed by a hip replacement last year and have struggled for over a year trying to find something I could be comfortable with that was stable, swiveled, on wheels & affordable. I was thinking your typical medical type stool and then I came across this! The height is great and its not top heavy which surprised me as light as this stool is. In just the two days I have had this, I find myself getting out of the recliner and choosing this stool. I sit up straight and its very comfortable once you get yourself centered. I'm 225 and 5'4" and this stool is perfect what what I need. I am seriously thinking about getting another one for the kitchen. I love it and I chose the maroon as you can see.

I purchased this stool to help relieve back pain that I have been having since I now work from home. I did not have a proper office chair and was looking for an economical solution. This stool has performed well in the first few weeks of ownership. Assembly was an easy task. I am a large woman and stool seems sturdy enough to support me. The design helps me sit upright which does relieve my back. I would have given this 5 stars but the one drawback I have is the meager padding. It has taken me awhile to get accustomed to the seat. I would compare it to a 10-speed bicycle seat, but wider. With my weight, the seat bottoms out to the hard base. You also have to pay attention to seating yourself. The stool needs to be in the correct position and it helps to place a hand on it to hold it in place. If you don't mindfully seat yourself, you might end up sitting in the floor. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and my back is better.

I’m a dog groomer so the one thing I like is I don’t slide forward on this saddle stool as opposed to the other stools and chairs I’ve tried. It also allows me to move in closer. The lever to adjust the height is easily accessible. The seat is nicely padded and comfortable. I was hoping it would help my backaches but I’ve had back surgeries, spinal cord injury and a metal rod so I’m not sure any stool would prevent my back from hurting No problem with the rollers on a concrete floor. It took a little bit of getting used to , but overall I’m pleased with this stool. Pay attention to the measurements of the seat. It’s a little wider in the front then I would prefer but it works, just takes getting used to.

Helps a lot with my posture, I don’t have back pain the way I used to

I just got this stool because the wheels on old one were starting to break. From the time I opened it to having it assembled, maybe 5 minutes passed. It was such an easy assembly, and no tools required. Plus, the height of the stool is very adjustable, so when I’m working on the top section of clients noggins, I don’t have to stand up. The seat is super padded and comfortable. I have only had this for one day, so yet to experience the durability, but so far— very impressed, especially for the cost.

First, the box came damaged. The stool itself has so many issues that can’t be blamed on the damaged box, though. Sure, the scratches on the “leather” seat might have been from the damaged packaging, but it was well wrapped in plastic so the scratches could have been from the production line. On to the real issue: the seat is not symmetrical, as you can see from the top-view photo I’ve posted. This meant that my hips were lopsided, with one side lower than the other. It caused me pain in my hips and lower back within 20 minutes of sitting on it. A closer look showed that the stitching was poor at the crotch area, with the fabric cut unequally on both sides. Seeing as I bought a saddle stool to HELP with back pain, I knew immediately I needed to return this. Now, on to the fun part: once you assemble the stool, you can’t take it apart. So it doesn’t fit in the box it came in. UPS asked me to pay $20 for a box that would fit the stool. It’s been such a hassle and I really wish I had bought a stool from anywhere else.

Hasn't broken despite daily use for hours by 300lb person that rocks continually. Only minor negative is the vinyl along the seam of the horn is wearing off.
