Nice heavy material
Nice heavy material. I used it to put under my inflatable hot gum at our lake property. Works great and protects the hot tub bottom from damage.

Itโs very nice underlayment for my pond.
I thought Iโd need more but one piece was perfect. Itโs very strong and yet folds easily to fit the deeper dips.

Great protection for your liner
I've used this in the past with other pond builds and it really works well in protecting under the liner along with cutting pieces for your larger rocks/boulders to sit on. Several of mine are 200#'s plus and this Nonwoven Geotextile Underlayment does the job keeping your liner safe from damage.

Seems durable
I just installed this liner, seems durable, which makes things a little challenging to maneuver at times... time will tell.

Very Thin
I'm not sure what protection this will provide to my water liner. It is very thin. I envisioned something more like a blanket. This isn't any thicker than a piece of burlap. It may work great, but it isn't obvious that it will. It you have perfectly smooth surface of clean soil, no rocks, no roots, it might do something. As I was finishing prepping my waterfall course, I missed a small root end. It was poking this material and I suspect it might eventually poke through to contact my liner. Again, it might not, but that was my impression. Since it is so thin, it doesn't blunt any sharper edges underneath. Not sure it was worth the actual cost. Time will tell.
