Well made but difficult to get the hole the correct size.
This product requires an EXACT 70mm hole or it just falls out. I use a 70mm hole saw but when drilling through 1” oak soffits it is impossible to keep the hole exactly 70mm. I cannot find a 68-69mm hole saw so having to pack the vents with tape. Does anyone have a better solution?

Soffit vents damaged by squirrel.
Items good for the price. However not very secure, although this may be due to fact that holes was not exactly 70mm.

A slightly tighter fit would be better
Tried a 68mm hole saw and that was definitely too small. (Had to use a rasp to enlarge the hole and then tap the vent in with a hammer). With a 70mm hole saw, the fit doesn't have a lot of friction. I used a little construction adhesive for peace of mind--ideally, it would be nice to skip that step. Otherwise no complaints.

Best on the market!
Did a lot of searching before purchasing these, metal versions don’t exist at 70mm which is a shame. Most looked really flimsy with large openings for bugs to get into but these are perfect. Clicked into position with a reassurance they are there for good and the grid pattern is just the right combo of bug proof with still plenty of air circulation.
