Dumb me, i have an old mini excavator and bobcat. I've worked on both but never had nor realized yeah there's some hoses when you replace, it's gonna leak out most of your hydro. I was replacing a hose on the bobcat and you know how it goes...opps....what do i do now. Run around quickly looking for ways to stop the 55 bucks of hydro pouring out. These are a lifesaver. Just get them.

These work well for keeping dust out of open lines. They are not designed to hold any pressure, and work better dry than oil covered. I've used them only in the upright position, upside down hasn't really worked for me. Overall good for the value.

Bought these for a upcoming job on my tractor's hydraulic cylinders. They worked great at plugging the open hose fittings.. Have since used them on a couple other jobs. Nice to have on hand.

Not sure how I did without these for so long. Actually I used bolts, pins, pens, and anything else for normal hoses. When it came to hydraulic lines with metal connections I would use vacuum plugs and other odd and ends. First of all, the color! These are easy to see and even if they get soaked in hydraulic oil they stay bright. I have used these 1/2 dozen times from tractors to small engine repair, they work great. Second and most important, they work. You may have to swap to different sizes but all in all they seal good. I have no problem leaving these in for days while waiting on parts. I have yet to have one cone out when it wasn't suppose to. And last, professional. They just look good, with makeshift stoppers there is always a chance for contaminates or damage. With these they wipe clean and I haven't had any damage to them.

I use these constantly for cooling system related repairs. They work great. They are build well. The variety in sizing is great especially with my recent move from tractor trailers to equipment. Much smaller hoses to work with.

Works as described awesome for quick hose swaps instead of digging around for proper plugs. Cannot be run under pressure which is understood when buying them.
