Great light
Best thing for little astronauts. Great night light feature that shuts off after 90 minutes to help save on batteries.

My kids LOVE the rotating star function at bedtime!
This is my second one to purchase... so my other kid could have one. My 2 kids love this item, mostly for the rotating stars at bedtime. Occasionally they flip to the other end to look at the slides of space. It seems to work well and I really like that it automatically turns off after a period of time, either 15 or 30 minutes. Takes AA batteries, which I just use good quality rechargeable batteries. Since it turns off automatically, I usually get about 2+ months per battery set.

My 5 year old loves this!
The projections could be clearer but this is totally worth the money

Good Educational and Fun Gift for Early Childhood
My 4-year-old grandson loves staring at the "universe" at bedtime. Suggested improvements include offering additional viewing dials (even expanding beyond space to other nature scenes). Also, the On/Off switch could be designed for easier use by young hands.

I am not impressed at all??
Mostly everyone in the comments was raving about this thing and its made from Discovery Kids so i figured it would be awesome. I am super disappointed with it though. My kid is in a small room, pitch black and the projector only does blurry unclear images. Looking through a telescope at the sky would have better clarity? There are different slides to put it in and it seems real cool except youre looking at just 1 image at a time and can barely tell what they are? The moon slides are crap, you can barely tell what phases the moons are in? I dont know if the downfall is its battery operated so it just doesnt have enough power to put out enough light to make a clear image? Or if the engineering is off on how clear the image will come out. We have tried shining it on ceiling, tried putting it right up to a wall. My kid tried laying with it on his stomach in bed shining it at the wall 3 feet away and the room is barely lit at all, and the images can barely be seen. The only way we could get anything out of it to see at all is placing it right up against the wall 1 ft away??? Baby projectors for shining fake images are more impressive by far than this thing. We are studying the planets and starts and were hoping to have a tool for learning and discovery.

Great choice!!!
Bought this for my 3 year old grandson and he loves it!! He knew the planets before I got this. The slides it comes with are great and the motion of the stars was really cool! Thank you!!

**CHANGED REVIEW**
Takes batteries, no USB. Low quality for price. Only buy on sale. Images are poor quality and stars aren't good enough to fill a room. Incredibly cheap. Okay. Damn. I changed to 5 stars after the kids saw it and lost their minds 😭 I was too harsh. The kids (5&2) love it. The 5 y/o cried when he flew his little ship to the moon.
