Organic, genuine, fragrant, fresh, and affordable to make vanilla extract
I ordered these Grade B vanilla beans to make vanilla extract. I chose this brand because they feature organic, Madagascar vanilla beans. The vanilla beans I received seem authentic, are tender and not dried out. They were easy to slice open, and oh, so fragrant! The Grade B is best for extract and is not as versatile or expensive as Grade A beans which can also be used for paste. The beans have richly concentrated vanilla flavor and aroma. I can't wait but must be patient to see how my vanilla extract turns out in about 6 months. The value these beans offer is excellent at approx. 70 cents per bean!

Perfect for homemade vanilla extract
These were perfect for my first time making vanilla extract. I bought 8.5 oz jars and was able to get three bottles out of the beans. I cut them as suggested in most recipes. They are drier than grade A (like they're supposed to be for extract) but weren't dry or crumbly at all. Easy to cut and a delicious smell. Hopefully in a few months my extract will be delicious!

Great beans for making extracts
These are lovely Madagascar vanilla beans, the crème de la crème of vanilla beans and the most desired for extracts. With their lower moisture content than Grade A beans, they are perfect for extract since your extract liquid (in our case vodka) won't have to work as hard to pull the essence out. When I received the package, as soon as I opened the box, I could smell the beans aroma, even though they were vacuum packed. Once the package was opened I counted them out (26 as advertised) weighed them (1.6 ounces) and started the process of bottling them. Please note that these beans are drier than Grade A beans and as such, it is not recommended to split them to scrape the "caviar" (seeds) out. Instead, cut them in half before you place them in the bottle. I recommend Boston Round bottles in amber to help block the light so that the extract won't lose it's potency. If you want the caviar, then I recommend you spend a few bucks more to buy the Grade A beans. Once you have them in the bottle, cover them with your alcohol of choice. I used 80 proof vodka, but you can also use rum, whiskey or pure grain alcohol mixed with distilled water to 40 percent strength. The flavor of the final product will be different if you use rum or whiskey. After you have your bottles sealed, cap them and put them up in a cool dark place. It is recommended to let shake the bottles every 3-5 days until they are at the desired strength. Please note that this is NOT an instant gratification product. The longer they stay in the liquid, the better the flavor will be. I used Madagascar beans last spring for sale this fall with a one year aging process, and I have to admit that the wait was worth it. The aroma and flavor is so much better than commercial vanilla products. and much more economical as well per ounce. I will be ordering some more next month so that I can start a batch every month. I always sell out of the vanilla each year and with these beans, I expect to do so next year as well. 5 stars JPL

The only vanilla beans I’ll ever use
GOSH! I bought these to make homemade vanilla extract. I got these out and started cutting them in my whole house smelled incredible! They are very high-quality vanilla beans and they cost a fraction of the price that I saw in stores. I made homemade vanilla extract with them and let me tell you I will never purchase that again. These vanilla beans will be the only thing I use. I kind of forgot about my vanilla extract I have brewing until I wrote this review and I am stunned at how delicious it is.

Tender and supple beans, they smell great!
I’ve bought these in the past, they’re great for making homemade vanilla extract! I’ve used other brands and they are smaller and less fragrant than these vanilla beans. These are a great product as far as length, plumpness, tenderness and fragrance. These are the best I’ve used so far! I would recommend to get these over VK, these are a better grade of beans.

Great for making your own vanilla
I have made vanilla and also home-made Amaretto liqueur with these beans and the flavor is great. I gave this only 4 stars because I was a little disappointed with the size of the beans - they are quite small compared to others I have purchased.

Going to attempt to make vanilla extract
Going to try making vanilla extract for the first time. Given how long it takes for a good extraction, kinda hard to evaluate right off the bat. First impression, without opening the package yet, it's very fragrant. Smells of strong vanilla. So guessing the concentration is great. Color is dark brown. Moisture looks nice and juicy. Should make some good stuff. One thing a bit hard to judge from the listing itself is size and weight of what ya get. I've included pics with a ruler aligned to bottom of beans in package and package on a kitchen scale. This gives a much better reference. With the weight, I figure I may try to do a larger 1.5x batch and half size 1x batch with what's left over. Price seems pretty awesome. Local HEB sells bottles of one bean for about $10. Bulk beans are $7 each. Yes. Each. So the price seems hard to beat when needing a couple ounces of beans. I have some 8 ounce bottles arriving today. Already have a 4 ounce from other hobbies. No liquor sales in Texas on Sundays, so will get some vodka, for sure tomorrow for main batch. Trying to decide on bourbon or rum to extract the smaller batch. Decisions. Decisions. Should be a fun project. Hope this review helps you with your vanilla bean purchasing decision. Take care.

Lovely vanilla
We used these beans to make our own vanilla extract with alcohol. They’ve been infusing for about a month, and the whole cupboard already smells of vanilla—the aroma is lovely. We’re leaving it to develop further before judging the finished flavour, but we’re pleased with the aroma so far. I’ll update the review once we’ve used the extract in baking.

Perfect Extract Pods – Deep Bourbon Aroma and Incredible Value for Home Baking
Finding high-quality vanilla beans for making homemade extracts can be a massive gamble. Many bulk packages arrive completely dried out, brittle, or lacking the complex aromatic oils required to throw a deep flavor into a liquor infusion. This 26-pack of Grade B Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans from FITNCLEAN is absolutely perfect for my homemade extract. They produce a rich, dark, and incredibly fragrant results that completely elevate any baking project. Grade B Extraction Optimization: While Grade A beans are typically prized for their plump appearance for scraping caviar directly into frostings, Grade B beans are the absolute industry standard for clean extract processing. Because they carry a slightly lower moisture profile by design, the concentrated vanilla flavors are highly dense. They absorb alcohol beautifully, releasing a massive, pure vanilla profile without watering down your master batch. Pristine Packaging & Organic Quality: FITNCLEAN has executed top-tier quality control with this bulk allotment. The beans arrive beautifully vacuum-sealed in heavy-duty food-grade packaging, locking in the essential oils so they remain supple and deeply aromatic on your pantry shelf. Pros: Highly dense Grade B profile is perfectly optimized for rich homemade vanilla extract infusions. Certified Organic and non-GMO pods guarantee absolute purity for your baking meditation. Strong vacuum packaging preserves essential oils, keeping beans perfectly supple. Generous 26-bean bulk allotment delivers outstanding value compared to retail grocery jars.
