MuscleSquad 25kg Adjustable Dumbbell - 10 in 1 Dumbbell - 2.5kg to 25kg

Had been looking for this type of kit to use during lockdown 1.0 but availability became an issue & where you could find kit the price had spiralled. With lockdown 2.0 in the offing I took the plunge & now having had these Dumb bells a few weeks I'm glad I did. No beating about the bush these are a great piece of kit! I've trained both in commercial gyms & with home kit for years. So here's how these items rate. Okay, in a pukka gym with row upon row of fixed dumb bells life is great & you can readily exercise to your hearts content with pyramid or drop sets. However, with home kit, all the faffing to add / remove weights from bars & replace collars etc does slow things down to the point that impact / intensity are difficult to achieve. These all in one dumb bells do address this issue pretty darn well. The selection system works well, the weights feel secure on the dumb bell & unused weights are held in place [on the caddy] good to go. Changing the weight is a doddle & maintaining intensity is no longer a problem. I did wonder just how well engineered these would be but, I have to admit once you've selected the weight it all feels pretty solid. No annoying rattling etc. Is it the same as fixed Dumb bells in a gym? Not quite but, it's pretty close. The swift change ability & the limited space required are a real plus. Delivery was prompt & via DPD [one of the best couriers in my experience].

Only takes a small amount of space and can be variable depending on lift needs. The holder acts as weight slot storage so they won't get lost or require spare boxes.

Well designed and perfect if you are limited for space, very easy to switch the weights with a touch of a button.

I was looking for adjustable dumbbells for some time when I suddenly came across these ones at less than half the price of the high ends ones. I was sceptical but thought I would take the plunge and haven't regretted it. The weight selection mechanism is obviously rather complicated, but from a user perspective, weight selection is easy (and inuitive after a while), just press the red button, rotate the weight selection wheel and then just lift the dumbbell up. The dumbbells are obviously rather large (out of necessity), but this can easily be compensated for by altering hand positions, angles etc. Overall I can't see why this is anything less than a 5 star product. Update: Still going strong after 6 months of almost daily use.

Well worth the investment. No more do you need a family of differing dumbbells or stacked weight plates laying around. Simply dock it, press the red button, turn the dials to desired weight, pick up the dumbbell with your chosen weight and go straight to exercise. Please note, since the actual dumbbell bar alone is a mechanism this is heavier than a usual dumbbell bar, and so this weight is inclusive in the weight you will select. This interchangeable set means you can quickly move to your next set without having to unload and load dumbbell, or need the space to display a family of dumbbell. The dumbbell resides in the heavy duty docking station. The bar is comfortable to hold and does not rattle as I first imagined it would. I am considering in buying a second set as it still takes less space and I can have a dumbbell to each hand to exercise as a pair. I can strongly recommend.

The dumbells are okay, mechanisms work well and seem sturdy, but they arrived all battered with paint chipping off the metal plates. Either defective from factory or 2nd hand returned item. Bought as brand new.

Used for 1 year now, no issues other than some noise when moving the dumbbell. You probably need to buy 2 though as a pair of dumbbells. Edit: Noise got louder and turns out the locking mechanism has become completely loose for one of the dumbbells - was doing lateral raises and some of the weights detached and went flying, hitting the wall

Great product, feels sturdy. Only wish i had got a heavier set as maxed out on 25kgs now
