Exactly what I was looking for, for the backyard wiffle ball field. Much better than those deteriorating plastic / rubber bases. Using the straps, I actually strapped these bases around my old rubber bases, adding a barrier between the ground, a sturdier surface and added weight to hold them in place. They remain in place and outdoors year round for 2-3 yrs now and no significant damage!or tears identified (gym shoes or bare feet only, no use with cleats yet). I highly recommend this product. I exhausted an extensive search for a soft bag like this, and these are exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend strapping rubber bases to the bottom of these bags.

Great set of Bases! A lot of cushion!

I built a baseball field at my home for my son and his team mates to practice on so theres no more arguing with other teams about who was here first at the town's little league park. It's nothing elaborate but it is a regulation size field. Needing bases, these were perfect, not to expensive and very good quality. Being seven year old players having real bases to practice on are a big plus. They are learning how to run the bases properly, using the base as a starting block when advancing to the next base and every base runners dream, sliding. I did build a hard platform with an anchoring system that I attached the bases to so I could remove them when it was time to cut the grass. Nice bases.

It’s better than old uncle Ed his and his bases that were 400 years old yeah don’t trust me I love these, but they are squishy. Bushy she like poo don’t worry.

I've pretty much been using these same bases for a decade as I run an adult kickball league. I go through about 6-8 sets a year. They hold up pretty well as I typically get about 20 games out of them before I start to see signs of ripping at all, but can still continue to use them for a while past that as well. The straps, however, usually come "connected" but backward to where you have to restrap them so the teeth properly grab to hold the strap. The connectors / teeth bend relatively easily. I typically properly strap up the bases then use Gorilla Tape to make sure the straps can't move or come undone from the connector / teeth. The spikes that come with the bases seem to be getting a bit lower in quality through the years. I have some old / rusted spiked that I'm pretty sure I've been using for 5+ years, but the spikes that have come with the past few orders I've gotten tend to have the head break off leaving them useless. At the end of the day they work well enough for my needs, and I know I'm tough on them, but they could be a bit better like they used to be.
