Uchida 483-C-0 Chisel Tip Bistro Chalk Marker, White

I have now bought this marker twice. (We used the first one up completely) It still worked great the entire time. I now use it for my kids back to school boards. I love the tip! Makes it so much easier to write pretty!

So, I used these for my son's first birthday 5 years ago. I bought two at the time and saved one fully sealed in my party box in the basement for those 5 years. I just brought it out to try and make some signs for my upcoming baby shower for my second and I wasn't thinking it would work. I thought, "it's probably dried up by now, it's been 5 years". THIS THING WORKS LIKE IT WAS JUST BOUGHT! 5 years and it's still working as if it was brand new! Seriously didn't think this could be possible. And it's really nice and solid lines. Seriously amazing!

I was really excited for this pen the thickness and amount of liquid that came out when writing created very attractive chalkboard content, however after I wrote on a chalkboard and went to erase it a week later the dried chalk was VERY difficult to get off and after I tried water then a cleaning solution finally a mr clean magic eraser got it off but after all the white “chalk” came off you can still see what was written there previously as if the pen stained the chalkboard ... really sad about that. I wanted this to work ended up buying regular old chalk ... so this is perfect if you plan on writing something then never changing it .. the pen easily erases with no stain if you wipe it immediately after writing it so if you make a mistake and wipe it off right away that’s not a problem

I'm happy with this chalkboard pen, and it writes nicely on my chalkboard. However, fair warning that it takes much longer than you'd think to get the ink flowing. I probably had to press the nib down for a good couple minutes before I was able to write. I honestly almost gave up and returned it. Follow the package directions but expect to push down on the tip for several minutes before you get any ink. Hopefully now that I've done that once it'll flow more easily going forward.

Quality is great! Nice and bright color and very smooth writing. Used on wooden tags and it worked perfectly.

Great price and product. Just shake until the tip turns white with chalk paint and then write away. Chisel tip allows you to use the point for smaller line or edge for thicker font. Used this for labels and had to erase a few times before I got my spacing right (no difficulty erasing - used a little water - but have not tried erasing after long-term application). Overall, would definitely recommend this product.

I had trouble getting the pen started. Once it started, it was very easy to use, but the chalk does not remove with water, soap, cleaner, or anything else that I have found. Most effective was just scraping it off with my nails.

This is actually the only white chalk pen that I trust to actually work. I have used competitors products and half the time they are dried up or just puddle chalk liquid. So worth getting this brand!

This really makes chalk board art so much easier. Lasted me a good while before running out too.

Good quality, long lasting. Works great! Easy to erase with water, doesn't come off without water. Exactly as described.
