I love this! I mix a scoop every morning into my homemade plain whole milk kefir and I can really feel the energy boost from it along with a general feeling of knowing that I am doing a really healthy, sustainable, and affordable thing to improve my overall health. Mixing it with the kefir and then going through my morning routine and then coming back to eat breakfast about 30 minutes later really helps your gut absorb all the probiotics in the kefir and helps feed your gut with all the healthy aspects of the beetroot powder. Do two really good things for yourself at once! Taste is great, and I don't have anything bad to say about that at all since I like beets anyways. I also love how Nutricost doesn't add any sweetness or anything else into it since I was looking for a pure organic beetroot powder without anything else that is unnecessary. Will definitely keep this as part of my daily morning routine for many, many years to come!

For those of you that do like the taste of beets this is exactly what you're looking for I absolutely love it it's like drinking a beet. I think they did a good job with the breakdown, there are other powders out there that have sweeteners or fruit flavors added to them for the masses they can't handle vegetables, this is for the true lovers of the beet and it mixes very smoothly.

I was excited about getting this order. First of all just to set a couple things straight, there's another review saying how disappointed they were that the container came only half full. The reason behind that is because after packaging and transport the powder becomes compressed. Once I got the big sized container, I shook it up and opening, it was nearly full as you can see by the picture. The second thing to debunk is that it doesn't smell like dirt, it smells like beets. Now when you first put the powder in water, it does have a slight taste of dirt. But if let the water and powder sit for a few minutes, the liquid grows a very dark color and indeed tastes like beets. Now I'm excited about seeing the effects of having extra energy. I'll let you know.

Wow, I've noticed a difference in a couple weeks. I'm not a fan of the flavor of beets, so I add a little cinnomon and turmeric to it. I trust the Nutricost brand of supplements and take a few others. 5 stars!!

It's beet powder. Has a sweet/dirty/earth flavor. I can't stand the stuff haha. It tastes awful but I also dont like beets. It's very hard to disguise the flavor. I usually take it like a shot before I workout to get the nitric oxide benefits. It does work but be prepared to burp beets all day long.

This is an amazing product. I've tried other brands, tried saving some money buying in bulk, tried the more expensive juice versions, this is simply the best. Best bang-for-buck. Best consistency, best taste, best everything. Just buy this, you won't regret it. If you don't like it, beets are probably just not for you. Or buy a juice version, but do take note that to get the same amount of benefits, you would need to use more of the juice powder, further increasing cost per consumption too.
