The reviews had complaints that the dress ran small. The listing says the dress is cotton/poly blend. The size chart showed a large bust size as 40 inches-which I am but since it is a wrap style dress and buyers were complaining the dress was too revealing and didnt cover enough I decided to order the XL (bust 44 inches). I ordered the dress on a Wednesday with two day shipping and got it a week later. I loved the color! but I panicked when I tried it on as it was SO big-like 12 inches too long for me I am 5 fett 1 inches and pretty baggy on top but the good thing is it wrapped just right and covered me so nothing was exposed. I was about to cut 12 inches off the bottom and hem it but decided to wash it first and see if it would shrink. It DOES shrink! I looked at the tag and it is 100% cotton and says dry clean only-oops, but it worked out good for me as it shrunk 12 inches and in the top area and the color faded a little but now it fits me PERFECT and it will be perfect for a tropical destination. Just be aware of the sizing and shrinkage.

This dress was everything I hoped it would be. I am 5'7", and 206 lbs. I usually wear a 2x, and I ordered a 2x. It fit perfectly. The fabric was smooth and flowy, the length was perfect, and the bust size was perfect. I loved it so much, that I ordered one for my daughter. I ordered the navy one with gold flowers and red across the chest. I would love to have one in several colors. It also came with thread and sew on snaps, which could be used to help close the fabric in the front where it crosses, in case you felt it was too open. I don't think I'll need it, but it's a nice option. Highly recommended. This dress is very flattering, and the fabric is sheer but not see thru, very light weight, but made well.

I expected to not really like this dress and didn’t the first time I tried it on... but then it grew on me and it’s one of my new favorites. It’s pretty flattering and I have the HARDEST time finding anything these days that is flattering on me because I’ve been eating lots of cake lately... it’s also longer on me than the model in the photo but I’m pretty short and squatty... I’m 5’4” and about 180 lbs give or take.. I ordered the Large which fits, but I could have probably gotten away with a medium because it’s a wrap dress. However, I’m glad I got the large because I can make the waste smaller by tying it tighter and I like the length (hits right above my feet for the perfect maxi length.. The material is not stretchy but it is breathable- and it’s not see-through!! Big plus. It may be loose in the top if you are flat chested (I’m a C cup and it fits pretty good but does have a little extra fabric in the chest area, but that could just be because I ordered the large one) so far I’ve had no real issues with this dress flying open but I did feel like I needed to have my hand in front of me when the wind blew... and I did wear shorts under it just in case... but I have not flashed anyone yet. They send you a snap button you can sew on it which I will probably do to give me some more piece of mind. I’ve worn it twice, but haven’t washed it yet because the care instructions on the tag are confusing and kind of conflicting, so I’m m afraid of shrinking it. The one big issue I have with this dress is that the color is not the same as it is in the picture. Look through people’s review pictures and compare them to the pictures in the add. I bought the tangerine dress thinking it would be burnt orange like it is in the pictures... NOPE. It’s bright orange. Which is fine because it still looks cute, but it’s definitely not what I wanted and I almost returned it because of the color.... I decided that I’m Still keeping it though because I like it regardless. I did buy a different dress from the same store (ZESICA) and although I loved the fit and fabric on that one also, I am returning it because the pattern and color, once again, are not the same as pictures. Both dresses I got were WAY more vibrant in person than advertised, so just be prepared for that. I’m assuming everything from this brand is going to be like that. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and am considering buying this in another color as well.

I ordered this because Linda Cardellini wore it on Dead to Me (according to wornontv.net) and I thought it was cute. I was hesitant to buy a long dress because I’m 5’2”. It’s the perfect length and barely grazes the ground without shoes and is perfect length-wise with my Birkenstocks. It has an attractive slit that either leg (but mostly your right leg) sometimes shows through, but only if you’re moving or if it’s breezy. It’s wrap at the top and comes with a few buttons to add in if you don’t want too much cleavage. It’s light and flow-y but has just enough weight to stay down. It flows lovely in the breeze and when you’re walking. I found it to be versatile and I was able to wear it to the playground with my younger kiddos, around the house, and out running errands without it being encumbering or making me feel out of place. It has a nice shape to it so it doesn’t swallow my figure. The pictures make it look black but it’s a dark blue color. I’m 5’2” 110lbs wearing a small. Hopefully my review was helpful!

I first purchased a Large in Navy and an XL in the Red to compare which size works best. They both came packaged in individually sealed plastic bags, the dresses both had ZESICA tags. The Large Navy fit perfectly and beautifully. I LOVE the dress! The XL Red was far too big and I did not care much for the color combo on me. I returned the XL Red and decided to buy the Green, in Large. I received it yesterday and I noticed the packaging was different. The bag the dress came in was a slide 'ziplock' type bag. I opened it and the dress did not have any tags (No ZESICA label) besides the L size tag. Was it a used return? Who knows.. I tried it on and the dress wouldn't even wrap around me all the way. Way too small! I'm sadly disappointed for I thought I found my 'perfect' size with this company's listings and I wanted to order more in different colors. Now I don't even know what size to get. I really like the Green, but I don't know if I should take the chance and order it in XL and have it be far too big like the Red XL. This would be a 5 star review if the sizing was consistent. When you're ordering blindly off the net, this is kind of important here...

Beautiful quality fabric and well made! Amazing value for the price. I was debating between a small or medium and went with the small which I’m glad I did. I find it runs a bit big for a small so fit me perfectly.
