YPP-117 1/4 Inch TRS to Dual 1/4 Inch TSF Stereo Breakout Cable, 6 Inches

Well made adapter. Works with the HX Stomp (and HX Stomp XL) dual expression pedal and footswitch input. TRS male to dual TS female plugs/ports/jacks. Red TS jack labeled "RING" and Black TS jack labeled "TIP". Cables between the connectors approximately 3.25 inches or 8.5 centimeters. And the ends are appx. 2.75 inches or 7 cm. Plastic ends are thick and sturdy. However they are 2x oversized in my opinion, twice as long as I would like the ends to be for my purpose. When using it with the HX Stomp the plug sticks out the back of the unit almost 3 inches, so it's not pedalboard friendly but fine for studio. Would rather have a right angled TRS male Jack with a low profile and compact casing. Or one using standard metal jacks, right angle Male TRS to 2 female TS. This is most the affordable of this type adapter and it is well made for the money.

This was abut the only one of these type of adapters I could find except a different one half the length and 1.6 ft is even pushing it for me so went with this one. As mentioned by other commenters it does come kinked but doesn't seem to be a problem, at least so far. I was skeptical as I use as high end cables as I possibly can and the skinny cables going to left and right on this doesn't look very thick like standard instrument cables do. But this is for a backup unit anyway and I compared straight in with a monster cable and then going out through this and couldn't tell a difference. I'm sure if i plugged it into my PC and tried it out with some meters I might be able to see a slight reduction in output but it sure wasn't noticeable to my ears and I consider myself having VERY good and picky ears. So I'm happy so far with this product

HOSA stuff is always great. I prefer this type of connector rather than a TRS male to dual TS Males as it means I can add this to any length of dual TS cables, rather than have a bunch of Y cables for different lengths. The connections are very solid, great quality, great price, perfect audio signal pass-through.

This was my third attempt to find a cable they correctly converted my existing four wire cable snake to my guitar, amplifier to, three wire TRS cable. This one worked! Correctly labeled for standard TRS connector: red is ring, tip is black; on headphones that corresponds to Right and Left, respectively. I use it for the effects loop on a Henriksen Bud Six guitar amplifier. There are labels on the breakout cable (ring, tip) in case anyone is unsure. Follows the TRS spec: Ring is Red or Right, tip is Black or left. It’s correctly wired, and great for connecting to guitar amps that have a TRS effects loop.

I have appreciated and trusted Hosa for decades because of the quality and selection. This item arrived as advertised and on time. The Hosa packaging was a bit small, though, resulting in severe bending of the wire right at the output jacks and I'm concerned of issues in the near future. Sorry, I should have taken a photo.

WILL NOT WORK WITH ROLAND E-DRUMS AS DRUM SPLITTER. Has other uses maybe but not for e drums.. is a 2 pack so it is good value if you have other intentions for a stero to mono splitter

Knew what I needed for a specific purpose - this meets my need and by being sized at the length it is makes keeping up with the attached cables very easy making set-up and tear-down/re-stowing a breeze. Hosa is a good product . . . perhaps not as heavy duty as I would like (a Sherman tank to me is light duty) but very serviceable and reliable, however if one is relying on this adapter in a high stress/flexing application, that a second one be kept on hand to avoid embarrassment should there be a failure. For the record, I use these units for splitting the signal from a dual source output acoustic guitar (Fishman Blender System, LR Baggs, etc. with a onboard Microphone and piezo transducer) where I desire to be able to adjust the blend of signals a bit more precisely than the Guitar pre-amp controls allow at the Amplifier (twin input in lieu of single input - bit more complicated but more precise).

Does exactly what it should with no noise or interference. Build quality is solid, and connectors fit snug. Great for splitting stereo signals to two mono channels in audio setups.
