i bought this dehydrator a year ago and i cant brag on it enough. i can do almost everything with it. i have dried chicken legs for my dogs, and made kibble for my dogs . now i am making l reuteri yogurt every week and it works perfect and is so simple to operate. it is perfect for thawing food straight out of the freezer too. its the perfect size being not too big and not too small. the cost was also great. what more could you ask for in a dehydrator.

Packaged well and arrived in great condition no dents or damage. Used once for some pork treats for our lab Buddy and seemed to work good. Buddy has chicken & beef allergies and we are trying to make his treats from now on. Between this and fruit cup frozen smoothies I think we are set. Very little noise, trays stack nicely, and easy to clean no sticking. The trays hold a good bit. Seems sturdy and good value for the money. The dog treats were costing 30 bucks a pop and our lab is in and out of vet with allergies so hoping we save money. Since the change to homemade treats he has not been shaking his head. Hopefully this does the trick.

I just got this dehydrator the other day, and it's working very well! The recipe book discouraged me for a moment when I saw how long it said to cook everything for. However, then I realized it must be referring to "whole" fruit and meat before it's sliced, because I was able to finish everything in half the time the recipe book called for. I'm really surprised at how well, and how fast it makes Beef jerky. My first batch I did Top Round Steak for 6 hours. I didn't cut it up narrow, I just left it in a large wide slice. It was a little too hard to chew and tear with my teeth. So, the next time I did it for 4 hours and it was perfect! Then I did a thicker cut steak (sirloin) that was 1/2 an inch thick! And it was done in 6 hours. Its softer and easy to chew!! It tastes better than store bought jerky, so I'll be making a ton of it. And the Kale chips I made were way better than I thought they'd be!! An excellent way to get your veggies in because a whole bundle of kale shrinks to a cup size of kale chips. Very easy to eat!

Wish I could give this more stars. Exceeded expectations. From the ordering and delivering (Amazon's part) to the product itself. The box that was delivered looked like it was taken care of, not beaten up. The packaging was smart. The manual is straightforward and in English and not a bunch of other languages. The product is aesthetically pleasing. I wouldn't mind it being on display, unlike some of the other designs. Controls are intuitive. Fit and finish seems excellent. I like the size of the 6-tray. Seems like a Goldilocks size for me and maybe 2 people. And for a small-ish household and garden (one reason I have found justification for a dehydrator.) It is amazing, after so much time wanting one, I finally got the "bug" to jump in and ordered it, got it, and dried my first batch of things in less than 24 hours. And at a price that is quite reasonable (about $150 out the door.) I can be pretty pessimistic about the times we live in but some things are truly remarkable about it, too.

Great size and very quiet. Typical for dehydrator takes a long time, but it's so easy and had great time settings and typical temperature settings. Only to 1 star off as cleaning is hard off making dehydrated fruits unless you get the silicone protectors for the shelves, then it's a piece of cake. Large size, but not huge footprint. Easy to store. Definitely excited for it. Has been a game changer so I don't waste produce.

This dehydrator is well-built, priced right, and incredibly easy to operate. I bought it specifically for drying herbs and making homemade yogurt, but it’s also perfect for our yearly tradition of making jerky and dried fruit. ​The controls are as simple as it gets—just set the time and temperature, and you’re in business. It runs very quietly with just a faint fan noise in the background; I actually keep it in my ranch office, and it doesn't bother me a bit while I work. ​It comes with several stainless racks that hold plenty of product. With a wide range of heat and time settings, it handles everything as slow or fast as you need. The wire grates work great for most things, but for soft fruits and vegetables, I’d recommend using the included plastic tray to keep things from sticking to the metal. ​I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier with it. It’s a great addition to the place.

So I purchased this unit as a gift to my mom who was interested in dehydrating produce for storage and trying her hand at jerky. I ended up being the first to use it after finding a good gallon size bag of Morels behind the house. Let me tell you, darn this thing is pretty awesome! Use- Very basic. I didn't need to review the guide. Unit wasn't hot to touch. Very easy to remove and install trays/screens. Didn't find myself needing to circulate trays like the cheap round ones I'm familiar with, but I have not tried jerky on this unit yet so that might still be a necessity. I did flip my mushrooms over, but that was more due to routine than need. I think they would have dried fine had I not. Cleaning-My son is an avid hunter who jerks a good portion of his kills and uses the cheap round dehydrators for that purpose. Having had to clean those trays, that clean up is just awful! The trays/screens are very easy to install and remove for cleaning on this unit. After removing trays, the inside of the unit is a very easy wipe down. Size- This is a large machine. That has it's pros and cons. Great for getting your hands in for cleaning and loading contents, but it also makes it bulky and a burden for counter space. The shape is excellent for function, unlike those stupid round ones, making loading less of a chore. Multiple tray slots let you determine stack amount and height unlike the round ones which is nice. Sound- It's not a quiet unit, but it is more quiet than the round ones. I didn't find it annoying like my son's cheap unit which I found myself praying would finish quickly. Overall an excellent purchase. I was so pleased with my moms unit that I am planning on buying my own. My mushrooms came out EXCELLENT. I gave them as a gift to a friend who ended up using them in a dinner party menu with great reviews. With out it I would have lost a lot of morels I couldn't eat. Having worked with the cheaper round style and this one, spend the extra money and buy this! It's worth the extra cost believe me!

This is my first dehydrator and it works great. So far I’ve made banana chips, green onion flakes, green onion powder, orange slices, lemon slices, and strawberry chips. I plan on using this to make backcountry camping meals soon. There is a ton of room in the dehydrator with 6 trays which is really nice. Also the fan is at the back which allows for horizontal airflow rather than bottom up like some cheaper dehydrators. This just means it dehydrates more evenly and you don’t need to reorder the trays. I would also highly recommend buying some silicone mats for the trays, they make cleanup way easier, but also the machine better. When I first made banana chips they stuck to the metal trays and were a pain to get off, as well as mostly breaking when trying to remove. I bought some silicone sheets and they came off so easily. The chips were perfect - 3 trays used, 140° for 16 hours. The trays themselves are easy to clean and the setup is so easy. They give you a booklet as well as a cheat sheet for how to dehydrate various fruits, vegetables, meats, nuts, and flowers. They also provide many recipes which is nice. This is my fist dehydrator, but I would recommend it.

La verdad salió muy bueno el producto, me ha servido mucho para deshidratar en especial hongos, pero creo que aplica muy bien para frutas y verduras en general.
