HVLP Spray Gun Air Regulator with Pressure Gauge and Diaphragm Control (Analog Pressure Gauge)

This is a good quality product, is well made and does its job. The knob looks into place and stays in place. I bought this unit after trying a set of two Chinese regulators, neither one worked out of the box. Paid for this unit what I paid for the other two, no regrets the difference is abysmal. You get what you pay for.

Works as it should with excellent regulation. Only reason I knocked off one star was because of the gauge size. I usually run my spray gun at 18 PSI which is hard to read on the small gauge. Once dialed in, it does well maintaining that pressure. I always base the pressure on my test spray so it's really not that big of a deal. . Update: well I have managed to blow it up. It's been giving me good service for about a year and a half. I suspect that the malfunction was primarily because I left my compressor set to 95 psi and this regular just can't handle it. I'm going to buy another one and place a big red dot on it to remind me not to exceed 40psi at the tank. Recently I've been spraying lacquer at 28-32 psi and getting great results.

Mine works as expected for HVLP spraying, with valve functionality similar to an OEM device that Porter supplied. Some other reviews mentioned that threads and nuts were mis-sized, the device I got had accurate fittings and they sealed properly. The question that remains is durability, if it lasts under moderate use, I will up my star rating.

These are far better than a cheater valve for similar cost. They're a little finicky in setup as the vent will unload if you try to adjust the regulator to the extreme end while keeoing impet pressure low. I send bout 90 psi from the booth regulator to it for my spray guns and finishing sander, then adjust the HvLP regulator down from there. Pressure is maintained without fluctuations and adjustment is easy. Glass face, big inlet and outlet for good flow compared to other brands I've used. The compact size and inexpensive price are big pluses. I already have 3, but I'm going to order a few more so each gun will have it's own. That's how much I like it!

No leaks but the pressure adjustment knob don't work so the first time you use it thats the pressure you will always have

looks to be good quality, glass lens, but tiny dial. I would need to get my reading glasses on to use it

ive bought more than one , seller is decent and cares , you wont find a better regulator with a diaphram at this price

Pretty good product for the price. Does the job. The 4 stars is because it came to me with a loose outer ring and i later fiud out one screw was dismantled. But other than that- good
