Exactly what I needed! Works perfectly in my Precision 5530.

I've had to replace this damn power jack about 4 times now on my XPS 15 7590. Luckily this does the trick every time and lasts about 2-3 years before it goes bad again (mainly poor design on dells part). Fixes the charger cutting in and out and only charging at certain angles

Replaced on Dell XPS 15 inch 9560 which I bought in 2017. Was getting battery error on old dell OEM battery charger and new other model battery charger. Almost bought a new OEM dell charger for $68 but decided to try this $6 DC power port. Easy to install. Open cover and remove 3 screws that holds down a clamp that covers the power port. Flip the clamp 60 to 90 degrees to expose the port. Use some force. Then remove the single screw that holds down the port to the motherboard and push/pull the port out. My laptop is charging well now and the battery Dell 56WHr 3 cell Lithium-ion last over 4 hours.

I bought this cable (and batteries and docking stations and power adapters) to try to solve a failure to charge issue with my Dell XPS 15 9570 laptop. Turns out a chip on the motherboard had noticeable heat damage, probably from an overcurrent condition. Search for "XPS 15 9570 USB C Charging Not Working - Another Fried Charging Circuitry Chip" on Dell's community support site to see if this is your issue.

No high amperage, the laptop charges normally and the cable plugs in perfectly. Nothing much else to say. Just a good product that meets expectation. Perfectly matches OEM part.

fit like a glove in my Dell XPS 9750, history: the win 11 power icon indicate that have problem with the chargin that dont have the suficient power, the conector was wigling, intead on buy the original charge I prefer to change the power port, and "voala" the conector Fit like a glove and the charging its at full power . ( important: the other part that was failing is that the CPU cores was at 10% of the full speed of the microprocesor protecting the CPU of overcharge so its was very solo, with this change, every thing back to 100% full speed of the CPU cores)

Went in nicely and fixed my charging issues due to the original Jack breaking. You’ll need a precision screwdriver set if you don’t already have one. Took some time to arrive so used a USB-C charger to get me by (maybe it’ll work for you if stuck)

Caught fire after 6 months of use.
