Battle Systems Sci-fi Terrain Frontier Core Set - 28-35mm RPG/Wargames / 40k Necromunda Card Scenery

Great product for great looking terrain and fits 28mm models perfectly. Bought it for 40k and it works great. The kit is fully module and can be put together how ever you want. There are not instructions in the box, but are avaliable on the battle systems youtube page. It's a great product made with good quality and highly detailed prices. It has everything from buildings to boxes and computer terminals. So I can be use for multiple different games. (Some sample pics with figures for scale)

Bought this to use for GW style games. Easy to assemble and looks excellent on the table. Works perfectly for 28mm grim dark future tabletop wargames.

Tiles are decent quality and great looking! My only issue is with the neoprene mat. There are creasesthat take a lot of extra work to remove, and I’m not sure you can entirely remove them. Neoprene is supposed to be rolled and not folded, though I understand they do it for packaging reasons. If you are picky then the mat might be unusable for you. The tiles however, are versatile, great looking and should be handled with a LOT of care for longevity. No instructions included but that wasn’t and issue for us with the online photos. Although I like the product and I see myself buying more battlesystems terrain in the future, I feel it might be a bit overpriced considering the state of the game mat. Not worth 90 USD if you just need a few tiles. In that case, I’d recommend checking the smaller core sets that also have awesome art.

This is perfect for Sci-Fi games; it can be use for wargames but I use it mainly for tabletop RPGs. I have found that it is perfect to represent spaceships, bases and far future cities. It's a little bit pricey but you can use it for a lot of settings. I have used it with Star Trek, Star War's, Death in Space and in Alien.

Easy assembly, using this for a 4 player Kill Team campaign and its great. Print work is great, looks like an imperial ship with the Gothic windows and all. This set is set for 2'x2' and tried to stretch it to a 48"x33" table layout. Will be back for another box. Oh, also it comes with a neoprene mat! Didn't expect that.

I have purchased several kits over the years. They are great for kill team or a couple of sets for a 6x8 table. Things to remember: they are cardboard. They need to be assembled and dis-assembled carefully. Smaller objects can be crushed if things get put on top of them when stored. Don’t force things! Battle Systems has some how to videos I highly recommend watching. This stuff can easily last for years if you treat it well.

This is a great set of terrain for my paper miniatures I use for Five Parsecs. As others have pointed out putting it together can be a bit of a bother because there are no paper instructions. Watching the video did work but I was looking for more of a manual like a plastic model. But in the end the set is well made and looks cool, and I was amazed at how heavy duty the parts were. So overall I will probably buy more as I need more terrain.

We enjoy playing board game with this. It's fun to play.
