MaxTite Isopropyl Alcohol 99.9% (1 Gallon (32oz, 4 Pack))

This isopropyl alcohol is extremely useful and has become one of my go-to cleaning products. I add a small amount to water with a few drops of dishwashing liquid, and it works perfectly for cleaning the inside of windows. It leaves the glass clean and clear with very little effort. It also works especially well on the inside of car windshields, where ordinary cleaners often struggle. Beyond glass cleaning, it is excellent for removing glue residue and for general cleaning tasks where alcohol is the right tool for the job. The 99.9% concentration makes it very effective, and a little goes a long way, so it offers excellent value for the money.

Not really much to say due to the type of item. It appears to be 99% isopropyl, works very well, was packed properly and arrived promptly. The price was right and the 4x 32oz. bottles are just the right size for convenience. Bottles are well sealed and work exactly as expected. Highly recommended.

I've been using this for a while to clean the heads on my reel to reel tape deck. It has worked really well. While I can't be sure that it's definitely 99.9%, it is a very high percentage of isopropyl, which I can tell since it evaporates evenly and quickly off of a piece of glass. Try that with 70% from a drug store and it takes a long time to fully evaporate. Also, while this states it's not for medical use (and you shouldn't use it to sanitize anything. 70% is actually the most effective in breaking down cell walls and destroying bacteria. It's counter-intuitive, since most of the time, a higher percentage of something will be more effective, but alcohol is an exception) I have poured some over a bandaid before removing since it softens the glue and makes removal much less painful. With that, it will also remove glue residue from many surfaces. It can sometimes take a little work, but it's effective. I'll give the standard disclaimer that you should always "try it in a small and inconspicuous spot first". I would follow that since it can definitely damage some surfaces; especially finishes and clear plastics. Three more things: 1) seal the bottle well and keep it in a dark and not-too-warm place, otherwise it will evaporate the contents of the bottle quickly. 2) keep in mind that you should try not to breathe this in (you're probably going to be fine if it's just a small amount) and keep in mind that this is incredibly flammable since it vaporizes quickly. Don't light anything near it, nor use it in any kind of heating or lighting device unless it says to do so and you know what you're doing. This is strong stuff. 3) Wear eye protection and try not to get too much on your skin since it will absorb into it.

Amazing. Works great, it's really hard to find 99.9% alcohol in stores. The bottle is easy to handle as well and pour from, as compared to the square ones you can buy at Walgreens. The inner seal on the bottle has a pull tab, which was very convenient. Will purchase again!

Perfect for electronics soldering projects. Prepares printed circuit boards for solder by removing oxidation that developed on the metal contact pads. Use with a cleaning cotton swab or a sturdy electronics brush. Much better than the 91% isopropyl alcohol commonly found in local pharmacies and grocery stores.

bottles are closer to 27 oz but its still the cheapest iso thays good and pure

Works fantastic for flushing out saturated compressor oil from an open A/C system, and a much better value than a dedicated AC flush.
