What is the difference between the gold sea moss and the purple?

If this isn't real as some suggest, where do you get the real stuff from?

I will tell ya to me and other people I know who make there own gel. This brand is good. I purchased elsewhere and got fake stinky and damp. So here I am. This 1 is DRY and Odorless Which is real
