I installed these LifeGrip anti-slip traction treads on a set of steps that tend to get slippery, and they made an immediate difference. The surface has a gritty, high-traction texture, which helps prevent slipping, especially in wet conditions. Installation was straightforward just clean the surface, peel the backing, and stick them down. The adhesive feels strong and once applied, they stay in place without lifting. What I like most is how effective they are. They add a noticeable amount of grip without being overly bulky, and they work well for everyday use on stairs, entryways, or even outdoor areas. These types of treads are designed to improve safety by providing extra traction where slipping can be an issue. Also looks amazing with all the lights are off because it blows in the dark.

I put these on our deck stairs. Great quality! They have held up well and none of them have peeled up even after negative temps! Very durable. Keeps our 135 pound dog from slipping even when it rains. We have not slipped since putting them on either. Easy to apply, just peel and stick! They still look new and going strong. I like the pre-made length too. No measuring needed and all are the same length. Highly recommended for deck stairs!

I stuck these on some wooden stairs in late summer and it's now the end of January 2026 with below freezing temps recently - they haven't budged or peeled. I only used a little bit of rubbing alcohol to clean the steps (not well) before sticking these on and they're still working great. They received a lot of rain and snow and foot traffic. The glow is still very strong and bright! They were easy to cut for customized sizes and sticking them on was so easy I finished it in a few minutes. The rough surface also provides great traction.

We bought these at the end of May 2022 and installed them in June 2022 when the temperature was around 80°F (27°C). We should have checked the box closer because ours did NOT come with the rollers so we had to improvise. The installation instructions, however, were very clear on the box and so they were relatively easy to install on our backyard wooden door steps and inside the garage. We did exactly what they instructed: Clean steps thoroughly and let dry before applying, etc. The box advised us not to install over gaps in the steps but we had no choice because we bought a size larger than recommended (we should have boughten 4" vs. 6"), so it was our mistake so no stars were taken off there. The adhesives on these are fantastic and they stick very well especially in high heat. All was good and we loved these treads all summer…and fall…until winter arrived. By February 2023, some of these treads that were outdoors had started to peel off and even blew away in the storm. Some are barely hanging on and just flapping around in the storm. However, the ones in the garage are still in excellent shape. So, while great indoors, outdoors these only lasted about 8 months for us. We will salvage what we have left and buy 3M Hi-Strength 90 adhesive spray to rectify the situation and see how that works out. They do get quite hot in the summer heat but the traction we get is worth it. They help our senior dog to not slip also which is wonderful! Overall, while these are great for indoors and work exactly as described, outdoors is a whole different story. They just didn’t last in our Chicagoland weather with clear four seasons. Therefore, I’d give them a 3.7/5.0 - 05/01/2023.

I used these glow in the dark grip tape for one of my exterior doors and they are working out great. I should have done this a long time ago. It prevents accidents and slips from happening due to such good grip they provide. They are also very sticky, so prep your surface correctly and you should not have any issues with them not sticking. If you want to put a rug over them, they also provide very good grip so the rug stays in place. The glow in the dark strip is also a very nice and neat future to help you get your bearings at night. Definitely not enough to light up the area, but enough to give you an idea of where the steps are. 5 stars, definitely recommend.

These work great! I have tried others and been disappointed. They went on easy and adhered to the surface will. The reflective stripe is a nice addition. We have had a very hard winter in New England so they have been beat up a bit from repeative shoveling and scraping of ice. I will need to replace a few but however, I would definately buy this product again. They are great for slip resistance and the value for you money is worth it.

These are great and easy to install and they really help see in dim light.

These are very easy to apply. They do exactly as they should. They are durable. However, I put them on the cement stairs on my front porch, and after it rained they no longer stick. I put them on the wood deck stairs on the back of my house, and they are still secure. If you are going to use these for cement stairs, I recommend only using them indoors, or on a covered area. However for wood, it’s perfect indoor/outdoor.

Purchased these strips for my wood porch stairs. Adhesive was excellent and the installation was easy. Traction is good. I live in a cold climate (Prairie Canada) and so far had no issues with peeling or lost of grip through snow and sub zero temperatures.

Good pre cut length - I can't comment on the stickiness though as I had to put them down on wet wood steps, so used a staple gun, but still good grip.

Hübsch ist anders. Aber darauf kam es uns nicht an. Wir haben die auf Holzstufen draußen gemacht. Mussten zusätzlich befestigen. Aber seither hält es und das wichtigste, man fällt nicht mehr die Treppe runter.
