Received phone jack today. our phone system utilizes only the green and red wires. wired itt correctly, left jack does not work. what's wrong?

First thing is to look at ur new jack and make sure both wires are on each terminal and that they are the same, e.g. red terminal has 2 red wires etc. If they’re different change and it should work. If they’re already the same make sure terminals are tight. Still not working? Be sure ur phone cables are good, not kinked or broken. Try the good one in both jacks Hope this helps
