Ultra Conditioner/Softener for Beards by Beardsley and Company, Beard Care Products, 8 oz

I've been using a standard conditioner for my beard for a while. I noticed a difference with this product after the second use. My beard has a much more pleasant texture, and both my husband and I enjoy the scent. I've also noticed a significant reduction in beard dandruff, a very welcome side effect. The scent is a muxture of beach and wilderness with hints of coconut and wildflowers. It's not at all feminine, in my opinion. It's a product to make beards softer, so I find it strange that other reviewers would complain about an "unmanly" fragrance. Mixed expectations, much? If you want to smell like a lumberjack, quit moisturizing and roll around in tree sap and dirt. Done. Great product. I will be a repeat customer.

UPDATED: One my second tube now after more than a year (I only use it a few times a week$. Still a great product! Again, I put a little in after a shower or before bed and then wash it out later, but it works wonders. I've recommended it to many people and everyone loves how much better their beard feels—softer and smoother. highly recommend—STILL! First off, I didn't think it smelled nearly as girly as some of the reviewers. Sure, it's a bit on the "fresh" side, rather than smelling like the woods or an oil rig or a 6hr bus ride, but then again, I don't usually condition my beard and run straight to the club...as a CONDITIONER, it works very well--some of the best I've found--and when I am ready to go out, my beard balm or cologne has no trouble covering up any real or imagined smell left by the conditioner. I'll be buying it again.

I was very impressed with this beard conditioner. I was very surprised - even better results than the one I regularly use and I thought that one worked great! This was even better. First use, I made a mistake of using a bit more than I should have - although it was still a tiny bit. So when using this, think small amount, then make it smaller. It lathers up pretty well and my beard has never been softer only after a few uses. Excellent conditioner! I use their beard shampoo as well so I am not sure if you have to use both to get good results or not but using both seems to be very effective.

Works great. I started growing my first beard and need something for the itch and this did the trick. The smell is okay but I don't think it last to long. My wife told me it was noticeably softer. I would recommend that you give it a try! Update: I have used it over and over again and while I think it is still a good product and still recommend it I wish it moisturized a little better. I usually follow up with some lotion after to make sure my face is getting enough so it doesn't ry out. (I do live in a dry climate)

This product was overall not for me, but it did to what it advertised. It made my beard super super soft, and I just love the smell. I think it smells so good. However, it made my skin break out. I have very sensitive skin, so it's tough to find products that don't irritate it - so take that how you will. If this hadn't messed my skin up I would still be using it. Recommend if you have normal skin

This stuff is great. Keeps the beard soft and tame. Good smell and texture. Not great. Use it daily.

Let me start by saying I have a VERY wiry, VERY curly beard. As much as my wife loves the look of it, I've never been able to grow it out longer than a month without wanting to tear my face off. So far with the help of this conditioner, I've been managing significantly better than past attempts. It does soften things a bit and helps with the constant ingrown and stabbing issues I deal with. It's not a dramatic improvement however, at least not for me. Perhaps it works better for people with longer or less malicious beards. Regarding the fragrance, I don't see what all the hubbub is about. It kind of smells like your girlfriend's hair conditioner, but it's not overpowering and it doesn't linger at all after you rinse it.

My husband has very curly hair, and his beard hair is very coarse. I bought this for him as a gag gift, and come to find out, it actually works!!! His beard will always feel like a brill-o pad, that's just his texture....but it's noticeably softer! He says that the smell isn't that great when he first applies it, but he can't smell it anymore after rinsing. And the bottle is awesome! Recommended!!!

Not upto expectations. We need to have atleast 2-3weeks beard to feel the effect. Doesn't work out on 1-2 days beard or a recent shaved beard
