Mandelic Topical Acid 12%

As a retired esthetician, I’m super critical when it comes to product results. This serum is AMAZING! It really delivers! I use it on my skin, which is in pretty good condition and have already seen and felt results after only one week. I also have my husband use it, who suffers from sun damage and face and scalp, and his results are even better. The top of his head, yes he’s bald, is much smoother and the hp is already noticeably lighter. (Having said all of this, we have used serums and resurfaces, so don’t have dead skin buildup. I also use “Prequel “ on him prior to this serum to remove any surface oils.). Highly recommend this product!

Im giving this 5 stars, despite the unpleasant odor bc it was extremely effective after one use! I must admit I was disappointed bc this specific serum was listed as an “at home chemical peel” but is really just a serum that you slap on and move about your day. No peeling or washing off required. I was apprehensive before purchase bc I read so many bad reviews complaining about the “strong cinnamon odor that’s so bad”. I was expecting a stinky punch in the face, but I didn’t get that. It’s more of a wafting, vague unpleasant odor. I’d describe it like “hmm I don’t smell anything bad” and then *sniff sniff* “what smell is that? I can’t place it. Is it this stuff?” It’s almost like a dried glue smell… That said, my partner told me “your forehead looks smoother”, and she was right. I used it the last 2 nights in a row and only had a very mild burning sensation, like sunburn. Definitely worth it for the price alone, and the effectiveness. Best $20 I’ve ever spent on serums tbh. For those interested: I have KP which gives my cheeks a bumpy texture; mild wrinkles mainly on my forehead (35yo ww) and dry skin in my t-zone. My skin is noticeably softer and smoother. I’ll update if this changes!

Helps improve my overall skin texture and great for my rosacea just be sure to not use it every day. I use it maybe three times a week and especially if I see a pimple forming. It knocks the from completely forming and goes away usually overnight if I apply it as soon as I see a spot. Overall highly recommend for those with aging skin, rosacea and occasional pimples.

Mandelic Acid is my favorite facial product. It has done the best in making my skin smoother while not breaking me out. I have very oily skin with poor texture (age 47) so it’s hard to find products that improve that. Mandelic acid helps sooo much! I will say I prefer a different brand, but this one seems ok. May not buy again because I feel like a different brand was more effective, but I’ll definitely finish this bottle because it’s close.

This feels great on the skin~it really helps to clarify if you have any hyperpigmentation. There is peeling so just be mindful of that but effective so I would recommend it:)
