This is what budget coilovers should be! I have tried BC’s, and even KWs on older generation golf’s and jettas. For the price, the ride could be so much worse! The quality is above what I would expect for the price point. I’ve had these on a fully loaded mk4 Jetta for a year now, after they broke in, they became more supple and less bouncy. As others have stated, with spirited driving, you can really feel the performance improvement over stock suspension. The amount of body roll that is reduced is equivalent to installing a performance sway bar on stock suspension. It really is a “night and day” difference. My only gripe is that these should have adjustable dampening, instead of making them for 5$ a piece in China, make them for 6$ and give us some dampening adjustment! Make sure you buy the BLUE set! The red coilovers are from a different manufacturer and are total garbage, it’s obvious even from the pictures! These are better than brand new OEM, 1 year later. EDIT: 1.5 years later and still rocking, no leaks. I can’t understand what the people who say “these suck” were expecting for the price. Myself and my buddies are all into modding cars and all of them have said they’re super impressed with these when they sit in my passenger seat on a drive. You could spend 4x as much for the same quality!

I replaced my old blown out coilovers with these not expecting much for the price (350cad). I’m totally impressed for the price. The packaging is high quality in a nice box with everything held in its spot. It arrived in 2 days (unheard of for car parts in Canada) installation was easy and the quality of the parts seems really good for the price. If you have an old mk4 i 100% recommend installing these, gonna be a huge improvement from clapped out stock. I have the fronts adjusted about 3/4 inch up and the back all the way down with the adjustable collar removed. 18 rims and 1 inch spacers. Rubs a tiny bit on big bumps or weird corners. Smooth ride, maybe a little soft (my old coil overs was like a shopping cart) I recommend ordering new strut bushing/bearing at the same time.

qualità eccellente, sia le molle che gli ammortizzatori , montaggio perfetto ( perni, attacchi, passacavi e tubi ) tutto identico all originale, nessuna modifica da fare prezzo eccellente NB: li ho montati da una settimana e l' estetica auto è da pista, ma la rigidità di questi ammortizzatori è estrema, quindi: 1- sarete costretti a qualsiasi dosso artificiale a rallentare a meno di 10km/h seno darete una testata al tetto 2- a 30km/h ho preso un dislivello di un tombino ed ho spaccato la coppa dell olio 3- attenti alle alte velocità, rispetto agli ammortizzatori normali l auto è mooooolto più stabile e vi permetterà di eseguire curve molto più velocemente , ma "SE" andate oltre il limite, appena si comicia a sbandare andrete immediatamente in testacoda
