This holster is a VERY tight fit. I had to cock and lock my 1911 just to keep the slide from cycling trying to stuff it in the holster. That said, once in there, it is snug and secure. The thumb strap is a little cheesy but I’m sure it’ll work on and for IWB purposes. I would not recommend using this thumb break strap for OWB carry. I’m sure the holster itself will stretch some over time and it is already more forgiving. It also fits my SA35 and Ruger MkIV. Snugly as well. The mag holders are tight on a 7 round 1911 single stack magazine and I haven’t tried a double stack yet but I’m sure they’ll wiggle in somehow. The metal clips are like any other IWB economy rig, simple spring steel and it’s also tight. Overall not a bad buy for the money, and I’m thinking this will actually fit several of my handguns for various purposes, so this was a win for me. Just know that if you have a rail or extended slide, big threaded barrel, probably any optic, this will NOT fit your weapon.

For the price, this is a sweet holster. No frills, no fancy features. The best part is it can be left hand or right hand, inside or outside. I keep it inside, right handed, and the only thing that get's me uncomfortable is the fact I'm carrying a full size 1911 as a small guy. The strap meant to hold the 1911 down can be detached from either side or taken off entirely if you want, which is what I did since I'm concealing. Only thing bad I have to say is the mag holders are a lot more high profile than I'd want. And by that, I mean they're bulky when a mag is actually in them and they're bulky enough that I don't really wanna use em. The main holster though, a good product.

For the price it's a great holster, pistol fit nicely & it came with two belt clip holders.

I have no problem with the Holster, it was pretty decent, the problem was I ordered a holster for a 1911 9mm with a 5 in barrel, the one they sent was for a small pistol, my 1911 barrel would not start to go into the holster. THe small holster was well made but the wrong size'

It holds my 1911 but it isn’t good for inside a waist band conceal carry. 1911’s are to heavy. If your state has open carry or you live on property where you do it works fine for that. But other than that I don’t recommend this for a 1911. Get a nicer holster. Something special made of leather, monogrammed. I do not recommend it.

Had this holster for 2 to 3 years now and still going. It is well made and not bad on comfort with IWB for me at least, since somedays i carry almost everyday. The mag holders still going as well and holds the mags pretty great. Ended up using one of the mag holders to hold a utility knife for work and holds that pretty nice. Would recommend.

The first time I tried to fit my 1911 into the holster, it racked the slide it was so tight. I removed it and shaped the holster a little bit and tried again and it fits like a glove. Multiple pulls and re-holsters with no issue. I would definitely recommend IAI 1911 5inch larger frame
