Great tea for Northeast, USA weather.
Years ago I worked in global Aerospace Engineering Company who had a partnership with the UK. Many UK Engineers were sent over to USA to work on the projects. I am 100 % tea drinker, no coffee, just Hot Chocolate, Lemonade, & tea. Black Tea - HOT! Like Captain Jean Luc Picard! So, (1) day while sitting @ my desk working away I had large box of PG Tips aside of a steaming mug of hot tea. (1) of the UK (Scottish) Engineers came over to ask me a question. He noticed the PG Tips box & asked what "I" an American would be doing with such STRONG TEA on her desk? I told him "It's PG Tips! It is a UK tea - here take a few bags for yourself!" He laughed heartily & stated "Dearie, I have the same box @ my desk but I am wondering why you have it here & where you bought it?" I told him it was a special order from a UK tea shop @ that time it was hard to find in USA. Again, he laughed & stated "That'll put hair on your chest, if you drink it black! Ya' need some cream in it!" We had a lovely conversation about American Teas vs UK Teas & he always came over during the day for a spot of PG Tips tea. He could not handle it black, but I could. It was a great product then & still is. I just love it. It is a strong tea but it is smooth & hearty . Great tea for Northeast, USA weather.
