Best flashlight Evvvverrrrrr!
Amazing flashlight definitely worth getting plus its rechargeable no batteries needed. Fast USB - C charging, very long battery life, easy to use. Durable, incredibly bright, very useful low and medium power modes. Definitely would recommend purchasing when on sale, not too big not too small fits perfectly on duty belt. No pocket clip so you will have to buy your own holder.

A well made and bright flashlight
Well nowadays we can say goodbye to dead batteries in most of our battery powered stuff, like flashlights for example. These new batteries we have nowadays are great. I wanted a good flashlight, I have this 6V lantern powered flashlight. With a new battery in it, isn't too bad, but this new flashlight puts it to shame. The 6V batteries are expensive and don't last very long either. This flashlight is a cheap piece of plastic junk not like my new one that's made from anodized aluminum. It is finished off very well and has some knurling on the handle but it's not sharp at all. Looks more to be a machined or milled type of grip. That's ok it's not hard to handle and has good balance to it. It adjusts it's beam by pulling the head of it in and out. It's supposed to be rated at 990,000 lumens, if it is I don't have any way of rating it but it's real bright. Good enough for what I need it for. I would not look directly into the beam of this thing as it might blind you. I left it on a cell phone charger for a couple of hours. It had some charge in the batteries when I took it out of the box. I took my Doggie outside for the evening and it was around midnight., I live up in the mountains and there's very little residual light so I was anxious to try it out it lit up my entire back yard as bright as day! I focused the beam down to a small square that for some reason has like crosshairs in it. It illuminated some 100' plus Douglas firs at the tops of them. Very bright. For $46.00 and change I think it's a fair priced flashlight considering what you get, rechargability, decent charge life and bright, very bright. I don't think you'd be disappointed if you bought this one.

Bright Light w/a few drawbacks
I've waited 4 months before writing a review for this light as I wanted to use it enough to know just how good or bad it was. It's one of the brightest flashlights that I've ever owned and it's really easy to adjust from wide angle to narrow spot (square spot due to LED). It seems to be fairly well built and not a "light weight", it should last some time. Doesn't take too long to recharge when needed but I'd suggest just charging the battery while in the light instead of removing to charge in the charging cradle. Why wear out the threads and possibly allow moisture to invade the battery compartment. Now, the things I wish they would change. Why did they choose to go with a Micro USB port on the light instead of the more common USB C? This means that you must use the cable that comes with the light and not one of the many other cables that you already have. Speaking of the charging port, the small rubber 'plug' that is supposed to seal off the plug does not stay in place. If you're using the light outside in the rain you want to make sure that the plug stays in place. It needs to have a separate switch to toggle between the different modes. It's a pain in the *** to have to go through all of the modes just to turn off the flashlight. Personally, I'll never use the flashing beacon nor the SOS signal light, so having to go through those just to get the light turned off is a .... yeah. All in All it's a pretty good flashlight but it really could be a lot better. *UPDATE* Just bought a second one and they have made a couple of changes. First, they changed from the micro USB port to the more common USB C, which means that you no longer need a special cable for the light. Second, they've done away with the external charger which I've never used with the first one. We've used this flashlight when we've lost power and by shining it onto the ceiling it will illuminate a large living room. Plus the battery lasted all the way through the blackout which lasted all night long. SO, we're changing our review from 3 stars to 4 :-)

BRIGHT YES! but...
1) Someone said it smoked...a daunting fact to overcome as I ordered. Well the instructions say the only way that it would smoke is if the batteries were put in upside down. I don't think I will try that despite the weird logical step that it works that way! 2) The batteries aren't even labeled, so not certain of the size of these rechargeables. OR where to get them...but if size identifies them, I should be able to replace (I hope) They are stuck together as ONE and at first, prior to reading the directions I assumed they needed to be taken apart. NOOO!!! Okay no problem, but where/how does a duo like this get replaced??? Totally unlabelled by the way! 3) Again no phone or way to contact them directly, but Amazon does get in contact for you through their normal messaging and the company is prompt about answering. 4) Still not fully charged, although unlike my shaver, they WILL work while charging. 5) Don't look into the light unless you want to see waves of shimmering color for about a minute after looking away..It is indeed powerful although AMAZON DOES SELL A FLASH WITH 900,000 LUMENS AS OPPOSED TO THIS ONE AT 250,000 lumens. 6) I immediately compared it to my 6 volt (4 C batteries) Duracell flashlight whose brightness I thought was pretty good. This dwarfs that. Period. Full stop. For a personal use item, I have not seen anything brighter. 7) "Blinking" while charging means it is not done charging. I plugged it into my laptop. I can plug them into my car battery through the dashboard connector of my car which I really like. That means you don't have to keep them in the flashlight while in your car for fear of leakage. However you would never know if the batteries leaked because you can not open up the covering within which these batteries reside. 8) I don't use the strap so if it's (otherwise reported) poor quality IS REAL, I neither inspected it nor care about. I intend to use it in my car and store it without the batteries. That way, assuming my car battery does not die (recently replaced after 4 years), I will never have to worry about emergency battery power. Seems better than simply storing batteries from a non rechargeable, where they can run down without use AND LEAK. Today, I had to ditch 4 batteries (AAA) that were labeled 2002 but never used. They all leaked right in the packaging!! (Duracell). 9) As I am at the beginning of this journey, I will come back if updating is needed. But clearly I have no long time experience which is generally crucial for this kind of review. However, I am happy with how strong the flash is and feel that I got what I paid for with a few forementioned quirks. UPDATE. I have been in touch with the company about the batteries: They refuse to sell me a battery as a back up. They tell me I can't get them anywhere without purchasing a new flashlight from them and they insist that these two connected batteries remain connected. The charger I own will not take 2 batteries in tandem , I am not certain what I will do when they run out. They tell me their batteries are proprietary and since they are stuck together with no lables on the covering at all, I assume I will simply get 2 rechargables from somewhere and stick them in one at a time....but who knows for sure. Seems to me like a big draw back if you are not certain what to do without their proprietary batteries!
