Awesome. Like other Dexter Russel items, these are made for a commercial type kitchen. They are not the most artsy/beautiful but they are properly designed and well made. Much better than the typical flimsy flippers you would find at the grocery or big box store.

I cook on a 36 inch propane griddle a lot and wanted a nicer turner than my plastic handled turner. This turner has a more rigid spine than others and the beveled edges work well for cutting. I did have to file off the corners slightly and hone the front of the spatula to remove the bur created when they made the bevel, it was digging into the top of my griddle. Pros: stiff spine, beveled edges for "chopping", looks great Cons: (for me) handle is too heavy and will not allow the turner rest on the griddle surface, tips backward to rest on the handle. brass handle pens get HOT if too close to griddle surface.

For use out on the griddle this is just as good as it gets. It is well made. It has nice sharp edges and it can reach across to the back spots easily. Cleans up to as good as new with a quick sponge and towel it off. Nice. I threw away the foreign made one after using this Russell.
