I was truly amazed at how complete this kit is and how professional the various tools are at such a reasonable price. I had not been able to get a piano tuner for my baby grand and thought I'd give it a try. I don't know what to call all the tools supplied but having watched a piano tuner in the past and having a pretty good ear I thought I could handle it. It comes with a tuning fork along with rubber wedges to silence individual stings and the tuning wrench and a host of other pieces that I'll have to watch a You Tube tutorial to figure out. I made it easier by getting a tuning app for my phone. Using that and the tools in the kit getting it on the money was pretty straight forward and I think almost anyone could do it with a little patience. Very good value and nicely packaged.

I'm never trained to do piano tuning. But with this tool, I was able to tune the piano just by myself. No fancy tools are needed, this is all you need if you want to do it yourself.

Bought to tune old acrosonic at cabin. Tuners there want 175 to start and that is on a piano they tune regularly. So I was looking at 250 to 300 bucks. I used pianometer software(50 per year subscription) and this kit. The #2 tip may not be accurate but I really have nothing to compare it with. It seemed a little too large but it got the job done. I don't recommend that anyone and everyone try DIY tuning. I play piano and have been a musician for a long time, have a good ear and am mechanically ok. I dove in and did it because we have pianos at 3 locations for our kid to use.

Not a professional tuner by any means but it works wonders. No issue with hammer. I started to get another kit without all the additional accessories but am glad I purchased this one. I took a stab at tuning a very old upright piano. When tuning the higher notes, all the other accessories came in very handy.

Lots of tools and gadgets to work with. Tuning hammer is a nice weight and decent quality!

I tuned a piano for the first time using this kit. Am not a professional. But this kit works. It has tools to tune both upright piano and baby grand piano.

As a total amateur, I was able to tune my piano "well enough" with this kit and the free app "Pano Tuner". I get what people say about the hammer being "short", but I got the hang of it: I apply some force and check; if I actually *felt* it move, it probably moved too much. I got this kit instead of a smaller kit because I wanted the "damping stick" (not sure if that's how you call the tool right next to the hammer in the picture), and I'm glad I did because it's my favourite damping tool. Also, this purchase was profitable on the very first use, so that's a bonus.

The part which fits onto the tuning lever and turns the wrest pins was completely missing, making this item useless for tuning pianos. I purchased a 2* piece from elsewhere, but the thread was different. I'm mightily disappointed and wouldn't recommend.
