Question 1

Also, do i have to buy the filter cartridges from here? or can i buy them from the pet store?

Accepted Answer

Thank you for your interest in this Tetra product, Taylor! This system takes the Whisper Small Bio Bag. It is available through local fish stores, some chain pet stores, and many online vendors, including Amazon!

Question 2

hey .im looking at getting a goldfish but need help . would this one be suitable!

Accepted Answer

All of what other people are saying is very true, but the main reason this is a horrible place for a goldfish is because it is way too small! Goldfish need 20 gallons minimum per goldfish, and often require 40 gallons per goldfish by adulthood. They get huge and need tons of space :)

Question 3

A couple of turtles will survive here?

Accepted Answer

I would definitely not recommend buying this tank for turtles. Or buying it at all. It broke in a month of having it. Its very hard to clean, and it over heats. If you need a tank for turtles I would recommend a 20 gallon tank with UV lights and a water filter.

Question 4

Is there a heater included with this?

Accepted Answer

Thank you for your interest in this Tetra product! No, it does not come with a heater. As the bowl is round, it would be difficult to attach a heater to the side of it. We recommend fish such as wild guppies, rosy barbs, or white cloud minnows for this container, as they are all cooler water fish, preferring an average temperature around 70-72 degrees, which is the average room temperature here in the United States.
