Effictiveness
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have heard alot of good things about this product. It works great. People commented about the smell, but I didn't really notice it too much and it didn't bother me. I put it on at night and the next morning it is smooth. It doesn't last all day and have only been using it for a few weeks, so we will see how it goes. Some didn't always stick, and sometimes I do get bothered using it every night. I think the reason they didn't stick was because I didn't wait long enough between moisturizing and putting them on. Effectiveness: Wrinkles gone in the morning, but doesn't last all day. I am using consistently hoping for more smooth skin.

Not worth the social media hype
I really wanted to like these, but I feel like I was duped by the convincing testimonies/videos social media. To be fair, I only tried them for a week, but after noticing on the last day that they had actually MADE NEW LINES on my face (from the outlines of the patch), I was OUT 😅 That is the opposite of what we're trying to do here. It is definitely a little bit of a learning curve to apply and remove these. The videos make it look so easy on social media, but in reality, there's a little bit of a trick. For one, if you apply these at the end of your skincare routine, after you've applied serums, moisturizer, etc. you'll have a harder time getting the patches to stick. I assume many people would apply these at the end of their nighttime skincare, as I was, before bed. And in the morning, the area of your skin where you applied the patches will be dry compared to the rest of your face because the patch removes/absorbs the products from your skincare. AND the patch sometimes leaves a residue. Also, I watched a couple videos online about how to apply these, and one lady said you can get a little bunch of these wet at a time while you wait for the adhesive to get tacky or whatnot. Well, that didn't quite work for me either. I feel like you really have to apply one patch at a time because the patch has a sweet spot for when it's sticky (only takes a few seconds), and if you go past that... Good luck getting it to stick. Once you do get them on your face, you gotta hold them there for several seconds, but apparently you shouldn't press *too* hard around the outlines of the patch because otherwise they will leave NEW LINES on your skin around the outlines of the patch. Once they're on your skin, if you're fidgety like I am... You'll be tapping them and touching them nonstop 😂 The removal process is kinda uncomfortable, low key painful for sure. I would get them wet and kinda wiggle them off your skin, and then once you get sick of that, rip the rest of it off like a bandaid 🥹 depending on the size of the patch and how much patch you have left on your face haha. One lady on Facebook says people just wear them to the gym and sweat them off, but... I'm not about the Hannibal Lecter lifestyle at the gym. And, like other reviews said, they DO smell bad, like old crusty glue that came off of a foot. It wasn't a huge issue for me 😅 but the deal breaker really was noticing new lines on my face the morning after, and with it only being a week, I didn't notice improvement on the original lines on my face. Maybe briefly in the morning depending on how well you applied them the night before, but the lines do come back shortly. At this point, I feel like facial exercises/ facial "yoga" is a better investment.

Great little postage stamps that stop wrinkles
Not sure why all the hate. They don’t smell any worse than a postage stamp did back when you had to lick them, these are basically postage stamps. And if you remember having to lick stamps, then you’re probably using Frownies. You need to use these every night to see results. It’s a commitment. If you don’t want to do that, get Botox. I currently get Dysport and started using Frownies for two reasons 1. A friend I trust began using them with great results 2. Covid hit and I couldn’t see my injector. Frownies helped me stretch my Dysport results until I could get back in. Now I use them to stretch out my appts or when I’m trying to save money. I don’t get the eyebrow lift I get from Dysport/botox but it helps reduce my forehead wrinkles and 11’s if I do the full Wonder Woman method. I do my nightly routine, let my products sink into my skin about 10 min per the Frownies instructions. Then I wet my finger a little with water and slide it over my already torn out Frownie and wait for it to curl up before applying. After my forehead is covered, I use Trader Joe’s rose water spray over the whole thing and pat it down. You don’t need Frownies rose water spray. They peel off much easier in the morning with product underneath than going in dry. I’ve tried going in without product and peeling off the next day hurts. I’ve also tried putting on frownies (just a few, not a full crown), immediately after face product and letting the product be wet enough to act as water to activate the glue. It’s worked fine too. You just have to figure what works for you and if this is worth it to you. Most of the time, honestly, it’s not worth it to me and I’d rather just get Dysport. But when money is tight, it’s worth the nightly commitment. Every other night works too if I’m alternating a retinoid product. Do not use it the same night as a retinoid. Do one or the other or risk peeling your skin off. Also didn’t know people were reusing their peeled off mask crown thing for a second use. I might try that!!

Don’t use moisturizers & they do have an odor!
I think they’re going to be beneficial. However, do not use any product after cleansing- no matter how long you wait - or they will not adhere to your skin. I’ve tried 4 different moisturizers bc I need a moisturizer- waited an hour before applying- they still did not adhere. I used them last night without using any cream/lotions/moisturizers & they worked well. The odor is very strong! I’m gonna be real - I’m a nurse & have smelled this numerous times - once wet, they smell like dirty belly button! I know it’s tmi but if you can’t tolerate strong odors - well… 🤣🤷🏻♀️

Simple, effective, wrinkle reduction
I still can not believe that these things actually work. I tried them as a bit of a lark, thought what could it hurt? Have to say I was pleased with the initial results and have continue to be impressed. Frownies are a kind of stiff craft-like paper with a natural gum adhesive on one side. They come in squares with perforated sections to tear off and use on the desired areas of the face. To apply the Frownies you simply massage the area of application for about 15 seconds, wet the backside of the Frownie patch with either toner mist or plain old water, gently lift the skin adjacent to the application area, to smooth the area, and apply the Frownie patch. Ideally the patch should be left on overnight, but if this is not possible you can still get good results with 2-3 hours of use. The idea behind these things is that you retrain the facial muscles by temporarily freezing the area. (Much like Botox.) I also think that when you remove the patch, the area is slightly irritated and you get some temporary swelling, thus you see less wrinkling for a short period of time. I have been using these things for about a month now and can absolutely say that they have helped. Especially in the () area beside the mouth and nose. Hints I can offer are: Don't use the huge perforated sections of the square if you don't have to. Cut sections to fit your face and use. When applying to the () area, leave a bit of room to the side of the nose - they become extremely irritating when they harden up if the patch is brushing against the curved side of the nose. Remove these things in the shower if you can - or at the very least thoroughly wet them. One other issue of note - some say that surgical tape is just as effective for use in this manner and is a good deal less expensive. Nexcare flexible clear tape has been reported to yield pretty much the same results. I have not tried the tape being happy with this product, but those looking for an even more affordable solution, might want to check it out.

Frownies patches safe and easy for me to buy on Amazon
I’ve been using Frownies facial patches for years. When I consistently wear these patches on my laugh lines and eleven crease I notice positive smoothed out wrinkles in the morning.. I used to save time and PRE tear the patches by pulling the corners apart on the dotted line once I opened the box. So they are ready for me to use..Usually I use Frownies facial patches at night while I sleep. The patches adhered to my laugh lines don’t bother me.I saw or read an interview that actress Renne Russo had good results using frownies patches and she was right. I have been happy with these facial patches and I will probably continue to use them. I like to wet my finger well with really warm water, Spread my wet warm finger on the adhesive side of the patch and apply the patch to my laugh crease by gently patting the wet adhesive patch into place, after I’ve showered ,dried and moisturized my face, before bedtime.I usually have great success in getting the patches to stick completely on my laugh lines and eleven crease by using really warm water on my finger method. When I wake up the next day I tear them on patches off like a band-aid and rinse off the remaining dry adhesive from my skin and I might apply a quick layer of moisturizer to my skin so I can take my time go to my kitchen and enjoy my first cup of coffee. Then when I’m done with coffee I’ll shower for the day and or wash my face,?towel dry and apply moisturizer to my face . If I wear makeup using Frownies at night wont interfere with my next day makeup application. Frownies are easy for me to use. I’ve developed my own routine that works for me. I like the packaging and they have always arrived quickly and convenient through Amazon.

No need for Botox. These actually work!
I’m 49 and honestly impressed. Frownies are one of those rare products that actually do what they say. I use them on my forehead, my 11 lines, and my laugh lines, and the results are real. My forehead is smooth now. My 11 lines are almost gone. And I had one deep laugh line that always bothered me—after consistent use, it’s noticeably softer and much less deep. That alone sold me. I wet each patch with 2–3 sprays of rose water, pop them on at night, and sleep in them. They stay put, don’t hurt, and come off easily in the morning—no pulling, no pain. I also have very sensitive skin and a long list of allergies, and these don’t irritate me at all. Zero redness, zero reaction. If you’re looking to smooth fine lines and wrinkles and want to avoid Botox, this is 100% worth trying. Consistency is key, but the payoff is real. Highly recommend.

They SMELL so bad!!!
These patches STINK so bad!!! They really don't adhere to my skin like they should've after following directions exactly either. I took off 2 patches near my mouth which were loose & annoying me, & all I could smell was that awful putrid aroma! I had to wash my face again b/c it was so bad even after removing them. At 1st they smelled a little like menthol, but after applying once they got "tacky" it smelled horrible. I used 3 on my forehead that seemed to stick better, but all in all, I feel like I wasted my money. It's very uncomfortable, and it stinks! And to know that I have to wear these consistently every night to get the best results, is just a downer for me.

Old and Stuck
It was not good at all. the patches were all stuck to each other and it looked like a very old product which was not very well stored. We have bought it before from other sites and always had a good product. this was very bad.

frownies
I've rated these before but just to reiterate. These are excellent if used properly. They save the expence of botex, which is a poison. If used for 7 hours a night which is the minimum time for the muscles in the face to relax, they will eventually lessen the effects of wrinkling. However you will need to keep up treatment as the effects take a little time. Eventually you can decrease application but l advise not stopping use altogether. I only use a little water rubbed on with my finger. Massage the area of application with your finger to relax the muscle. I apply to dry skin as l think the frownie adheres better. Trial perceiverence are the keywords!
